I've been using a few digital camera, i find this is the worst camera because of the picture quality taken. There's no flash option, so, indoor picture will be grey, and also outdoor if cloudy day. Software not very nice. I'm also use mustek about the same spec & price as this one and find it produce better quality picture.

I've bought this camera, as my first digital, 5 months ago. The moment I took it out of the box, I started taking photo's and have never stopped! Great camera for the money, and I find the pictures, aspecially in Macro mode, to be crisp and clear. The only rule for taking these great pictures is, set the image size to the biggest, best compression, and ISO on 100. Problems: Dont even think of using ISO-400 if you want crisp and clear pictures. It does not work! The 8MB SD card supplies is ...

Results not as good as expected but hey its a camera for beginners. Leica lens is good and damn its fast, auto focus in low light is good, good macro compared to its competitors, easy to use, recommend to beginners who take pics for fun Problems: Battery drainer, pics always noisy, even under the sunlight pics a lil blur

I've been a serious photgrapher since I was a kid. This is my first digital camera and I think its great. I saw that some others were have trouble with dark exposures indoors. The flash is not very powerful, but if you've had experience setting exposures with manual film cameras, you can use this thing like a spot meter, point it at what you want the exposure to be based on, squeeze the shutter halfway to lock and you're great. - Excellent Design, great looking/feeling camera - Clear User ...

Maybe I got a bad apple from the whole Panasonic production bunch...otherwise, excellent optics once camera is focused or exposed correctly. Probably it is a software problem. I wasn't happy with this camera's performance. Customer service call was no help either - no wonder it's been discontinued or so many refurbished units started coming out. The battery and SD memory card latch will wear out and can cause problems for owners in the future! Problems: Underexposure and bad focusing - ...

Let me tell you my story and review of LC20. This is my opinions and is pretty subjective to my values. I did not want to spend too much time reading spec/reviews. So I went into one of the biggest digital camera site(dcinside.com), and saw the pictures taken by LC-20. This site has many pictures taken by beginners like me as well as professionals, and pictures are sorted by manufacturers, so that you can see pictures taken by Canon, Nikon, etc. BTW, the site is Korean. However, if you ...

I studied the reviews at dpreview.com and surveyed the marketplace before I purchased a pair of these cameras this holiday season. I was attracted to the Panasonic DMC-LC20 camera by its value as well as its pocketable size and its retro design allusions. The top-mounted mode selector dial reminded me of the shutter speed dial on my first rangefinder Leicas. The compact size and collapsible lens echoed the Rollei 35. I think the camera's design is straightforward and functional and it looks ...

the camera is a nifty little thing. I chose it because of the Leica lens. It takes great pictures in bright light but in lower lighting conditions it's hard to find a balance between over exposure with flash on and under exposure without flash. I love the design, I can't stand the new fangled things that dont quite look like cameras. I dont have much to compare with because my other digital cameras are a DV Camera and a micro spy cam (www.che-ez.com) out of the box it lacks a few things, but ...

Have bought at US$218 in Singapore. I was buying it's prestigious tiny Leica lens. I am disappointed. Maybe I have high expectations. I was comparing to an analog idiot-proof Yashica T5 with CarlZeiss lens (US$160 in 1997). Using both under same conditions, mainly travel and kids shots, LC20 produce only 85% properly focused and exposed shots(even though I have carefully prefocused subject). Yashica T5 with ASA400 film would give 98% good shots. Kids in motion were captured well. LC20 had ...
