This camera has been neglected and gotten a bad rap. It is an excellent camera overall which, as Panasonic concedes, has better image quality and stabilization than the FZ200, including 15% less noise. The FZ200 costs more and has gotten all the press. A manual zoom lens would allow the left had to operate zoom without camera power, increasing speed and accuracy to composition. A front wheel dedicated to instant EV compensation would provide rapid light adjustment and free the thumb to maintain grip and compositional control; especially where it also provided with a thumb grip area free from controls. An articulating screen would be an improvement in allowing compositional variation in camera position.
