The FZ50 had the ability to record audio with a still image, or to allow the user to add audio to a still image. According to imaging-resource's review of the time: "Audio Recording: When enabled, allows the camera to record five seconds of audio with each still photo. (Audio recording isn't available when shooting auto bracket, burst mode or when quality is set to RAW.)" "Audio Dub.: Lets you record a brief audio clip to attach to the currently reviewed image." Does the FZ1000 have this...

Being a DSLR user for several years, I was waiting to go m43rds for a long time, one of the main reasons was the EVF. I always hated to have to review in the LCD the pictures I take. I do mostly wildlife, and I've lost uncountable many pictures due to wrong exposure. WIth my old FZ50, horrible EVF by today standards, I virtually never missed the exposure, since half-pressing the shutter shows me what will be recorded. Now, I got an EM1 expecting for the same. Indeed, in M mode, I see live the...

Hi I have the original Panasonic battery and two after market. I have taken over 12,000 pictures with this camera, alternating all 3 batteries. Usually get 500+ pictures on a charge. By the way, there is a small issue with the after market batteries. They are very slightly smaller than the original. After about a year I had to start slipping a folded piece of paper under the catch to keep the battery against the contacts. Yesterday the Panasonic battery stopped dead. It was working. Next time...

I recent purchased the FZ200 and took it out today for the first shoot.  While I like many features of the camera, the lens flare is the worst of any camera I've owned.  Granted, I was shooting toward the sun in these images, but I've never had flare like this - and I have used the FZ50 extensively.  The FZ200 advertises a "nano surface coating" to minimize lens flare - but the results seem to contradict this promotion.  (I was shooting with no filter and no lens hood.) Has anyone else...

And ordered: This somewhat middle of the road system, in hopes of getting another better part of 10 years of relatively trouble free service that my ole Sony Vaio has given (If anyone knows of a better off-the-shelf deal or discount code etc. I'm listening). I was planning to ride the ole XP beast out till things got difficult but the nic took a crap & one of the DVD's won't even open while the other DVD took several attempts before it would even read a DVD/CD. Plus every so often, when I'm...
