This is an excellent product for taking pictures and shooting movies. You can shoot Half HD (720p) directly in MOV file. The image focus and stabilisation work great. Pictures are of great quality thanks to the Leica 1:2.5-5.9f lens. You can shoot decent pictures even with less light, which is useful if you want to take a close up of a baby without the flash.
