My third PS. very pleased with pictures taken in low light or indoor environment. No red eyes problem with this camera compared with the Canon SD870IS and SD950IS. I had the two Canon for two weeks and a lot of red eyes from indoor and low & flash scene. Don't get me wrong Canon have good ,sharp picture. But after 4 or 5 months searching for an alternative PS beside my A640. I am very happy with this FX55. Problems: Sometimes the IA mode take a bit to focus. It's could be that my daughter ...

I've used the camera for four months and have taken photos day and night to test its IQ under different ISO settings. It's generally good and well balanced considering a compact with 28mm wide angle. Keeping ISO under 400 would at most of the time made you satisfied. Also, the flash is quite strong when compared with other compacts. Overall, I would recommend this compact. Problems: Not really any problem considering its a compact.

Although quite a small camera, it certainly packs a lot of punch for the money and it all fits into your pocket. Although, if you purchase this camera from one of the hard sellers, the battery does last quite a long ...

Its over 2 years since I had this camera, in the meantime, I have own and used few of the p & s and dslr including L1 and L10 and recently just bought ZR1. in my opion none of them can compare to the FX55, its good for day and very good for nite. If you still can get one, buy this one, you will really enjoy it. Problems: not yet. Zoom mode does't work during movie ...
