This is 100% a fully automatic camera, if you want any sort of creative controls look elsewhere. But what it does it pulls off exceptionally well. Great handy size cam with more than just point n shoot abilities. I bought the cam as an ugrade from FX30. The images of my FX30 have been very good, but since i am a perfectionist, i was not completely happy with the noise behavour and the loss of detail due to the JPG processing and compression. Furthermore the FX30 had the chance of unsharp images caused by the long exposure times in low light conditions.
