I just bought this demo camera for $299 last week. The quality of this camera is amazing, construction and image quality. That cam was built as per the old quality standards, that is before they start releasing low budget entry levels cameras like Nikon D40, Evoilt E-510, Sony A200, etc. Having the D40 since a year now, I can definitely feel the difference in quality, even if the D40 is not bad at all, especially for the price. The menus are very extensive, many different set-ups are ...

I've waited a LO-O-ONG time before posting my opinion on this camera (in fact, I have posted my opinion on the E-3 first), but I simply MUST let you all know that despite it not being perfect (the E-3 IS better), the E-330 will always be my first real photographic love, and (on a less personal note) certainly an instant classic. Mark my words : when the milestones in digital SLRs are described in "A history of Digital Photography" (edition anno 2025) the E-330 will be in there while a lot of ...

Great deal at current sell-out pricing! I've had the camera for 3 months. I also own the E-1 and have not been using it much, while giving the 330 a good workout. I LOVE the Liveview 'A' mode and use it pretty well all the time. No other LV SLR works the same way... no blanking out when the mirror flaps. The articulating LCD also encourages the user to put the camera in unusual positions for creative framing and unique angles. (I wish it also rotated, for portrait positioning.) Problems: I ...

I couldn't resist buying this camera when the prices at Cameta fell below $400. When I first took it out of the box I was not thrilled by it. It didn't seem to be finished as nice or built as solidly as my E-300. Also, because of the articulating monitor it is a very thick camera. Over time, though, this camera has really grown on me. The monitor is beautiful and the fact that it articulates is very useful. In addition, when the E-330 first came out I thought that Live View was a gimmick. ...

I just bought a new one from cameta on e-bay for next to nothing.I have the older E-300 and this one is a much better camera, the live view A-mode is excellent and very easy to use.Image quality is right up there with my Nikon D80.I sure dont see any difference between 10MP's and 7.5MP's plus the files are smaller.Get one while they last Regards Bob. Problems: None

Incredible camera. I love the articulating LCD, and Live Mode; I use A more than B, but for macros, B is awesome! Highly recommend this camera!

This is the most innovative camera on the market. All brands are scrambling to catch up to the live view implementation. It is useful in more pictures than I ever imagined before I bought it. Too bad Phil didn't have the imagination to recognize this in his review. Problems: None

There's a fire sale on these cameras lately. Not wanting to take a long trip to a hot country this summer with my heavy DSLR and even heavier bag of lenses, I opted for the E-330 two lens kit. The kit lenses offer a good range (28-300mm 35mm equivalnet) and their quality surpasses other brands of kit lenses, IMO. It was a good decision. I di not buy the camera because of the live-view feature, I was never interested in that feature. Now that I have it, I find it to be extremely useful in ...

I bought this camera in april. I would have preferred a Leica Digilux 3 but at the price for the E 330 I just could not resist. On top it was available with the 14-42 lens that comes with the E 400, E 410 and E 510. This is an excellent camera and the two live view modes are a good bonus together with the swiveling lcd screen. Image quality is much better than I expected and at high ISO better than my compact. I always thought I would not like the 4/3 image format but now I'm used to it. I ...
