This lens is the reason I bought my E-PL6. This is a lovely macro lens, and really shows the strengths of the micro 4/3 format. It's relatively cheap, small, and is a very capable macro.  The auto-focus can sometimes be a little slow but it's easy to manage with the focus-bounding knob on the side of the lens.

I spent months considering this lens. On one hand its not stabilised, on the other hand its cheaper than the pan 45 on the other side it is big. In the end I just bought and I have to say its my favourite lens. It takes beautiful macros (I'm new so some of mine arent great I know) with rapid AF. I have a Sony 100mm (too heavy) and now an Olympus 60mm. This is a great little lens with sharp results. I use it in my E-M5 and it's a great pair! See some shots taken by me !

Every so often I purchase a lens that I love using, such as Pentax limited 70mm, limited 15mm. The Olympus is such a lens. I use it with a Panasonic Lumix G6 camera. The sharpness and handling are really impressive. If only the G6 had in camera stabilisation (see Lumix GX7) ! It does sometimes hunt whilst focussing, but the results from it have rekindled my interest in Macro, it is also a useful lens for portraiture. Previously I used my Pentax K5 with a very old Tokina 90mm macro (very ...

Just got the lens this week , had a quick try an here are the result My mini review IQ , bear in mind this is my 1st dedicated macro lens, compared to my other oly prime like 25 f1.4 and 45 f1.8 the sharpness doesn't disappoint here AF , i find the Limiter very useful leave at full range it becomes a bit sluggish Body, is made of plastic and metal mount, i wish olympus use rubber for the MF ring other than that build quality is fine CC is very welcome
