Incredible value for money considering quality and reach. Perfect for birding, moon shots etc. Crisp, clean and distorsion-free imaging. Problems: None

This lens can be had for under $250 if you look around, and is a steal for that price. Let's get the bad stuff out of the way first: it is not as sharp as more expensive glass, especially at 300mm f/5.6, and focuses somewhat slowly. But it is certainly sharp *enough* at any aperture and focal length, and provides a tremendous amount of reach for the price.
