I accidentally pried off a fisheye lens from my Olympus Stylus TG-2 iHS (2013) while kayaking. The camera appears to work fine electronically (no issues turning it on and off, nor taking photos), but I don't know if it's still waterproof. Any thoughts? The only visible damage appears to be to the external metal ring around the lens (the one that says "Olympus Lens" and "4x wide optical zoom" etc." on it). Is this metal rim part of the waterproof function or is it only cosmetic? You can se...
Hi. I'm thinking of buying a "tough" camera for video recording. I can't figure out which one of these cameras are the best, I'm not too good with cameras. The only things that matter to me are the video quality and the audio. PLEASE HELP ME! I'm a dumb guy, I can't figure this stuff out and could really use some help from some experts. The only things that matter to me are the video quality and the audio. Price doesn't matter. The only things that matter to me are the video quality and the...

I need a weatherproof, dirtproof camera that takes excellent shots (yeah, a pipe dream, I know) especially excellent action shots. I am trying to decide between the Panasonic Lumix DMC-TS5, Pentax WG-3, and Olympus Tough TG-2. Does anyone have any experience with any of these cameras in regards to picture quality, action/motion shots, etc.? Or have a different camera to recommend? I don't really need to take the camera underwater, but it will be in situations where it will get wet and dirty,...
After some intense research I decided on the TG2 for home and holiday requirements. The daylight photos come out absolutely fantastic but I find that when shooting at night under artificial light in automatic or other modes, the quality is not what I was expecting. Is this a generic digital compact issue or is there any way to improve the quality of the pics? Any suggestions?
I'm interested in the new TG-2, but timelapse is very important to me, and I can't find any mention of it being available in any of the various press releases or quick reviews. Olympus have not yet made the user manual available for download.Does anyone here know if this feature is included, and if so what the limitations might be (eg, programmable intervals, etc).
