Hi, I just purchased an SZ-31MR and have been trying to get to know its features. Some reviews seem to indicate that it's possible to adjust the depth of field with this camera, but some say no, and the official documentation makes no mention of it. Is there some workaround or tweak I could use to limit the DOF to a particular range?

HiI received the Olympus SZ31 for Christmas and have been really happy with it so far. I am v new to photography though so I am not sure I'm getting the best out of the camera. Hi all, I bought the SZ31-MR a few months back and think it's a great little camera, very easy to use and very portable. However I often feel my photos lack depth and/or look glary with the flash, I am a novice.I'm going to be a daddy soon and am really looking forward to taking pictures of the little man, most of which I'll probably print for family (max 6"x8") and maybe a couple that I'll get printed onto canvas.I've toyed with the idea of buying a DSLR a few times more for shooting at...
