An awesome comapct "point and shoot" camera. I chose this as I was looking for a compact point and shoot camera, and as such it's great. It gives me a couple of extra features (spot metering, iso selection, super macro to name a few) while still looking stylish and weighing very little. The best thing I've found is the low compression jpeg mode which no other cameras I compared it to could offer. Minis take excellent day shots... I was so happy with the quality of the shots and it was easy to use, small and with stood splashes of water well. I was close to keeping my camera... then I took shots at night (in a well lit area) and this is where it failed for me. The flash was shocking. I could only take a shot which was at a certain distance otherwise it wouldnt come out and one shot I took came out which was barely a shadow in a VERY well lit area. I bought a blue Verve for my wife. She is ecstatic over its compact size, stylish looks and unique industrial design. Its technical capabilities are impressive. In automatic point-and-shoot mode, the color and white balance are very good. Red eye is problematic, unless you set the flash to "red eye reduction" before using the flash. I've taken a few hundred pictures under a wide variety of circumstances. The general impression is of a fun, easy to use, sophisticated little camera. The bad news is that the lens is quite slow, and not as sharp or distortion-free (at wide angle) as I'd like.
