Small, cute, and probably marked down. This is a point and shoot camera. It can be a good choice if you like to keep things simple, or it can be a good choice if you want a light backup to your better camera. Image quality is really quite good for its category. Sharpening and contrast are set higher than I'd like. Most of the time it works out just right for a 4 X 6 inch print without software editing. A few underexposed shots benefited from software editing. A few were at the edge of ...

I bought this camera because of its small size. Construction is perfect, great design. Quality of outside day-light pictures is good, even thought there’s an underexposure and over saturation problem. Pictures taken inside or in poor light conditions are dark and it gets hard to take a shot without movement artefacts. Flash power is insufficient in almost every situation. Overall, image quality is acceptable. Poor image control. If you are looking for a small, handy nice camera, this is ...

As a would-be replacement for a old Canon Stylus digital camera (one of the first 1.8 MP models) I bought this camera. Using it on a skiing trip the outside pictures were perfect. Nice detail, no problems. A sunshine-filled vacation trip to Asia gave no problems outside, however pictures taken inside were grainy and even with flash tended to be suffering from movement artifacts. Again a sun-filled summer wedding in Northern Europe gave its problems too; somehow the camera insisted in using ...

I bought the camera for use as a mini pocket camera and a compaion to go along with my regular digital camera. Zooms not that great a 2x but if you add the full zoom in the menu then it helps. Pictures so far have been good for a camera of this size. As far as other as other features the waterrestiant case is cool, the Lcd is clear no matter the lighting, buy a bigger memory card the 16 mb gives a few pics and/or a little over a minute record time. Problems: Will have to update this in the ...

An awesome comapct "point and shoot" camera. I chose this as I was looking for a compact point and shoot camera, and as such it's great. It gives me a couple of extra features (spot metering, iso selection, super macro to name a few) while still looking stylish and weighing very little. The best thing I've found is the low compression jpeg mode which no other cameras I compared it to could offer. It feels comfortable for me to hold, and the shutter and zoom buttons are positioned so it can ...

Having used a Mju-mini for a short while I was initially very unimpressed. I didn't like the shape, and found it difficult to hold, and thought a 2x zoom is a bit pointless, especially when compared to the Canon Ixus i (In Europe), which has no zoom but FAR superior image quality. However, having used the camera a bit more recently (I work in a camera shop, so get to use a lot of cameras, some taken out, some around work) I have grown to appreciate it's niche. Olympus have made great ...

Minis take excellent day shots... I was so happy with the quality of the shots and it was easy to use, small and with stood splashes of water well. I was close to keeping my camera... then I took shots at night (in a well lit area) and this is where it failed for me. The flash was shocking. I could only take a shot which was at a certain distance otherwise it wouldnt come out and one shot I took came out which was barely a shadow in a VERY well lit area. I have had cheap cameras that would so ...

This little camera doesn't only look good (I would even say sexy) but delivers very nice pictures too. Autofocus is working better than everything I've seen so far on other (even more expensive) cameras! The monitor is *perfect* (sharp and extremely bright - even in sunlight). Lots of scene modes. Bottom line: An amazing piece of design and technology! Problems: This thing is really *small*. It's not easy to grip it the right way. Menu operation and navigation (especially in playback mode) ...

I bought a blue Verve for my wife. She is ecstatic over its compact size, stylish looks and unique industrial design. Its technical capabilities are impressive. In automatic point-and-shoot mode, the color and white balance are very good. Red eye is problematic, unless you set the flash to "red eye reduction" before using the flash. With the red eye reduction mode on, red eye completely disappears. Some reviewers have complained about grainy pictures. Grain and noise are present in photos ...
