My third digicam in 15 months & hopefully my last for a while. Upgraded?! from a C-700UZ to this one, E-100's IS ability just steals the show hands down!! Feel & quality a big added bonus. ps: Chromatic Abboration on this cam is down atleast 90% over my C-700 in side by side testing. Problems: Ya, finding one 2 years after its initial release! (I think i found the last one in Australia :)

I've been playing around with the camera for about a week now, and think it is a great purchase. The pre-capture function is something to get used to, but once you get the hang of it, you won't miss a shot. The build quality is great, I like the grip. The image quality surprised me the most, since I have a 3mp cp880, I was surprised to see that the quality was certainly as good as, if not better in some points, the cp. (ignoring the physical image resolution of course) Problems: there is ...

I must say that I'm satisfied with this camera. Indeed, the sensor is only 1.5 megapixels, but that's just fine for the applications I use it for (web photo galleries and personal storage, for the most part.) The long zoom capability of this camera was a primary reason for making this choice, along with the precapture feature. And, with the right bit of coaxing, a lot of detail comes out of the photos -- unsharp mask is your friend. Through-the-lens viewfinding is very nice, eliminating the ...

I bought the E-100RS last week and have been playing with it. I do pictures for 2 sports teams and have only tried it out on one of the Baseball teams. The pictures were really high in quality. I was shying away from this model because of the 1.3MP but after reading reviews from varous sights I decided to give it a try because of its Sports Program ability. Problems: I am having difficulty in understanding how to get the stop action that I need on the football side of the sporting events I ...

Problems: My camera broke after 1/2 year. The TTL does not work anymore. I´m very sorry about that because I loved to work with this camera. There´s nothing special happend but the manifacturer won´t repair under garantee. The repair the camera will be ca. 400 euro. Are there other people withe the same experience.

This is a fantastic camera. I am disabled following a stroke and can only use one hand. This camera with its stabalised lens, fully automated in every way is the best camera I have ever had over 50+ years of photography. Don't be fooled by the 1.5m pixals. the images are superb and A4 prints can always be made Problems: Occasionally the focusing does not work properly.

Great camera with an extraordinary list of features. It is difficult to make a camera that does everything easy to use. This camera uses alot of very cryptic icons to represent menu items and functions. The manual is 225 pages long and I find myself using it often to determine what an icon means. This is not a camera for the casual user but then it's not priced that way. Overall, I'm very pleased. Problems: Like most high end digital cameras, this camera has a very short battery life. I ...
