The D-520 is a decent 2 Megapixel Camera but I would recommend the D-540 or D-560 over it. The camera's weakness is its not so low light autofocus capability which is unnerving in normal low light situations like parties. Autofocus in low light has improved greatly on the newer model cameras in general. The features are also minimal so only get this camera if you shoot in brighter light and can get it really cheap, like a $100 or less. Problems: Low light autofocus very slow.View review in forums Leave a comment on this review
