Good camera - reliable, rugged, takes good photos. Great panorama feature - stitches seamlessly! Even 360 degree panoramas! Cover good at protecting lens. Problems: Heavy unit, likes batteries (takes 4).

I purchased this camera right when it came out in 2000, right when my son was born. I have had alot of fun with it, it still works almost perfectly despite being dropped multiple times. A couple of times the battery seemed to die very fast, but taking them out and back in again usually fixed it. This was my very first Digital camera, and I still own it and wouldn't part with it. It takes great pictures in any type of light setting. It truely is a shame that its discontinued, but for all of us that have the pleasure of owning one, we know the greatness of 2.1 Megapixels. Problems: Don't leave batteries in Camera if not using. Mine have drained on me twice by doing so. Otherwise No problems.

Overall this is a good camera, it takes good pictures and works in many different situations. Problems: It's realatively heavy for its size, also it has a slow response time for taking the picture, so don't plan on capturing the moment unless it's posed. (Don't use it on moving objects)

I've took about 10,000 photos with this cam. My opinion: pretty good point-n-shot camera if you are not looking 4 masterpieces and do not want to spend lots of money on camera. We bought this camera for use at work in our engineering office. It has really been a real timesaver for us. The images are great. We have used this camera now for about 2 years. no problems. Problems: Wish it was USB compatible. It would be nice if the lcd was easier to see outside.

Construction of the lens cover is scary at best! Over time it is bound to push the lens out of alignment. The small memory card that comes with it is way too small. Close up macro photography is average. This would be a good camera for a first time, snapshot oriented family. No serious photographers would be happy with it. great carry along camera. bought it back up my ever growing bag of serious tricks. found it at a local store on clearance for $210. someimtes i use it more than my G2. much better image quality than my "old" Nikon 775. Problems: none so far. wish it used compact flash.
