I've used this camera for about four years now, and for it's size and limitations- it has been an excellent camera. Time and advancements in technology have made this model somewhat outdated, but for the money it has been an incredible little tool. I've used it for almost every conceivable application- landscape, portrait, still set-up and it hasn't let me down yet. Good size, rugged build and common sense controls can't be scoffed at. I am hard pressed to make the upgrade to a new digital!!! ...

I've had this camera for a while now, and I just love it, I carry it with me in case there's something worth taking a picture of, or whatnot. I am planning on buy something bigger, better resolution, more features but, not right now. Problems: Only complaint is that the software that came with it, isn't the best. So I bought a USB smartmedia reader, and am now using it on my ibook with iphoto instead.

I've owned this camera for about 2 years and overall I'd say it’s excellent. The truth is that I keep looking for reasons to buy a new camera and in terms of picture quality I simply can't justify it. I have a friend with a Nikon 995 (3.3 meg pix) who has to cut his pictures down to my size (1.3) to make them viewable on the web sites he posts to; so what’s the point? Well, I suppose printing - but I don't print, I e-mail. Recently I used two Minolta cameras for a week, the Dimage X (2.1) ...

I like the size of the camera since on weekends, my method of transportation is via two wheels (Harley) rather than four. I wish I could scroll thru the camera photos faster and the batteries lasted longer (I always carry spares). Finally went to rechargable to defray costs. All in all, I like this camera, its size and features. Problems: I use this camera almost weekly to capture photos during my weekly Orange North Rotary Club meetings. My camera, which is out of warranty, quit working ...

Have enjoyed the results with the D-460Z. Now I think it's time to get an Olympus with more than 1.3 Megapixels, so that my prints will look sharper after enlargement. Problems: Enargement prints leave a lot to be desired.

I bought this camera in the spring of 2000 and still using it today. I've taken over 8000 photos, in all types of conditions. I left the camera outside for 2 days once and recovered it on the morning of the 3rd day covered with moisture. Had no problems with it after this. At an airshow a helecopter landed close by and threw up dirt while flaring, the camera was basically sandblasted and filled with grit. After cleaning out with compressed air, other than a very small chip in the lens she ...

I bought this camera to take pictures of cars and car show events. It operates well in a wide range of diverse environments and situations. Problems: It goes through regular batteries quite quickly. Invest in the rechargeables and you will not be disappointed.

Very impressive results. Have used it for over 6 months now. Many a person is convinced on "why a digital camera". Problems: Support in India is not very good, but have been an ardent Olympus owner all along - Mini AF-1, I-1000 to this !!

I bought the camera about a month ago. My 2nd digital camera. Love it. Nice pictures. This model has been discontinued but do not know why. Most everyone seems to like this model. Would like to see other peoples pictures taken with it. Problems: I have to send it for repair. A binding noise as the lens goes in/out.
