This is a model with a fixed, non protruding 36mm 2.8 lens. The lens are up to the task and performs reasonably well but are slightly let down by color mortling already at iso 125 which are the lowest. After much research and looking through full size samples from some models with fixed non protruding lenses I finally decided to test this model. What never was mentioned in the reviews are how auditive loud it can be. Not really suitable for stealthy streetphoto that I aimed to use it for. The ...

This was my first digital camera back in '00 - I took thousands of mostly decent candids with this camera without incident. Problems: I dusted it off and took some snaps with it a few minutes ago for the first time in years and it still works fine.

! had 2 of these cameras, BigBox specials with the NI-MH batteries and charger included. I take about 400 pics a day, in some dirty greasy envoroments, and the cameras performed great, they always took the picture I seen, sharp, clear images of VIN number at 3" and great shots at 20' as well, never got home without the images I thought I took. I have a D-380 and it never seems to get the image I wanted and thought I had. It's not a great motion camera, it takes a while to learn the ...

I have had my D-360_L several years .and am so satisfied I will stay with Olympus brand I think. The only problems were the constant battery drain and I solved this by using lithium or NISH rechargeables. No poblem at all now. The one single thing I REALLY appreciate is its weight, tho not too heavy but not so light you may forget you have it with you.Fantastic pictures for e-bay and yahoo auctions...love this camera.. Problems: as above stated ...it drained AA battries so I went to lithium or ...

My first digital camera (C860L) bought around 4-5 years ago. Although the 1.3M pixels would not stand up to comparison with more modern cameras in the 3M pixel range, it never disappointed. Good clear photos in most light conditions. Excellent colour saturation. Flash had good range (>5m). Easy to use (even my 4 year old son can take good pictures with it). A little too easy to get fingers onto / over the lens during normal use. One drop from 20-30cm onto a carpeted floor broke the ...

The first time my camera broke was just 11 days after the 1-year warranty expired. I was driving across several western U.S. states in the wintertime, and I think maybe the cold had something to do with it. It just quit turning on when I slid open the shutter cover. I got it fixed, at a cost of a little more than $100. It seemed to be an okay camera when it was working (although the digital zoom was really, really of limited use). Didn't have too much trouble with the battery life. It finally ...

This was my third digital camera. I bought it for a bargin where I worked and it served very well as a basic point and shoot camera for my girlfriend and I. If you don't expect much more than a throwaway 35mm you will not be dissapointed. Problems: Has alot of problems with motion and taking pictures in the dark.

Bad investment, it would dye on you very quickly, I own this model for no more than 2 and 1/2 years, and it just dyed on me, the cost of repairs is close to what it would cost a new one.

Got this camera from Wal-Mart as a replacement for a lesser, out of stock Olympus camera (sorry, I don't remember the model), in which the lens cover/switch quit on me. This was my second digital camera, and I was very disappointed with the amount of time between pushing the button and the picture taking, about 1-2 seconds. Many times I would miss an action shot because of this delay and it got to be very frustrating. The picture quality is not bad except for outdoor scenes with sun/shadow, ...

I have had this camera for about 2 years. Picture quality was never very impressive. Problems: Well, the camera just died on me. Auto focus stopped working. $300 bucks out the window. Hey, where is my old Pentax?
