I have been using this cam for two years and its my first digicam. I am very satisfied with its colour reproduction which is just nice to my eyes out of the camera. So I don't do much post processing. At the time of purchase I was considering the Fuji S3800 but bought this cam instead becuase it has a more powerful falsh and has better construction compared to the Fuji. I might be keeping this camera until it lifespan comes to an end. Its a great camera but has a great learning curve and is ...

I am a novice, having started out with a really cheap digital camera and had so much fun I jumped up to this model after reading reviews . I wanted the most zoom I good afford and this was the one.I have had so much pleasure from this camera in the last 8 months that I had to write here because of the negative reviews I've seen here. A picture is worth a 1000 words..check my web site http://members.shaw.ca/teddytsplace... Wallpaper and Screensaver pictures on site taken with the C-730 UZ ...

Nice camera, but the bad performance with regards to purple fringing held me back a little. I got it a lot with bird shots (bird in a tree, branches against the bright sky -> lots of fringing). Even with the sun behind me and blue skies I could often still find some purple in those type shots. Very frustrating. I think today you'd be much better off with the c740uz or the c750uz, which have much less of a fringing problem, and which I feel are the top big zoom cameras. That said, the 730 did ...

My C730UZ's Photos: http://www.pbase.com/jeffcat More China C730UZ Users' photos: http://digi.pchome.net/2003/5/18/3_45327.htm The Factory Setting for C730UZ make the photos a little bit RED. I think we should adjust the White Balance to Blue(only 1 step). You can also control C730UZ via a computer USB port: http://digi.pchome.net/cool/2003/6/27/3_53245.htm (in Chinese, with screen shot, the original software is from http://www.pinetreecomputing.com/camctl.asp) Problems: none

I went from a C-3000 to this camera and I'm very happy with it's overall performance. I made the move for the 10x zoom and it's amazing for such a small unit. I would have preferred a comprehensive printed manual to the software edition, and a standard strap setup. You have to try other cameras to appreciate the features of this camera. The menus are very intuitive, given some time with the manual. I like having both the X-d and Smartmedia card availability, that's why I didn't go to the C-750. ...

I love this camera so far. I've had it for less than a week, but already have taken some great shots. I love the zoom and the many features. I think it is essential to read the manual because there is just so much to learn. It definitely takes time to get used to. I think that most people who posted negative remarks about this camera didn't take time to work with it and read up on all the functuions. Problems: None so far.

This represents a superb upgrade from my 'old' Sanyo VPC-X360E camera. Excellent image quality. Used initially for a school sports day, and used a tripod for max zoom shots. Sharp, action shots, allowed great A4 colour photos for display posters around the school. The fantastic zoom facility will also come in very handy for long range wildlife images in Arizona.... Problems: Lens system (barrel) feels loose, but does not appear to affect image quality. Some time delay experienced when using ...

I had been reading up about the C-730 for approx 4-6 months until i bought it. I basically knew everything about it before i actually got it. Since I bought it i have taken many pictures. I have had no problems with indoor shots at all. Straight out of the box, indoors at night time with flash and 1 house light on. Pictures came out near perfect! Zoom is fantastic, features are great. If your a novice no probs, use auto mode. I recomend this camera to anyone. At the moment you can pick it up ...
