The 10x zoom in combination with the size made me buy this camera. And I'm very happy with it! The zoom and outside image quality compensates every "problem" I encountered so far. Read a lot about the zoom before I bought it and what can I say? It really IS great! It is worth all the money I spent on it. Problems: -Everybody did already, so I don't mention the Chromatic Aberration... (brr) -Low light conditions and the missing Focus Assist. This I think is the worst problem. This really can ...

I have the camera for about a month now and I have taken over 500 pictures with it already! I am very pleased with the camera and the picture quality. I like the size and shape of the camera: I really have the feeling that I am holding something. With the pocket sized camera I have always the idea that I will drop it. The grip (in which the four AA sized batteries are) is very convenient. The camera is very energy efficient: I took over 300 pictures (sometimes with the display on for long ...

Impressed with 10X lens and loads of features. Exceptional value for the money. Picture quality is above average. I have mastered the long zoom without shake. Must hold camera against face looking into the viewfinder (not the LCD) or pressing against a pole or tree.. Surprised at how well the pictures looked next to my Canon Pro 90 IS. Can put this one in my jacket pocket. The Flash works well. Amazed at small size. Problems: Some bright shots at ski area were overexposed. (Perhaps due ...

My first digital camera. I am absolutely impressed by the picture quality and the broad range of possibilities of a digital camera in general! I recommend this C 700 camera because of 1. the price (535 Euro at internet auctions is already no problem for a new camera with bill and garanty), 2. the zoom (absolutely no problems with the missing image stabilizer), 3. the whole lot of features (take your time for the slightly complicated manual), Problems: The only thing i ABSOLUTELY do not like: ...

Fuzzy pics too easy without image stabilizer. Lots of bang for your buck. Everything about this camera is awesome except that one thing. When zooming, get a tripod or hold your breath. Problems: Fuzzy photos due to lack of image stabilizer.

This is the best digital camera I have ever owned. The pictures are outstanding, even in low light, just don't expect the impossible. The tons of features are so easy to find on the camera. The all high quality glass lense is more like a top notch SLR's. Internal flash is great. Difficult to find a camera like this that has all the features that I have looked for. Red eye reduction works super. Self timer is a difficult thing to get on a lot of cameras. The supplied Adobe Photoshop Elements ...

I'm glad that I have chosen to buy this camera after all the reviews. It's feature is really easy to use. So far I have never use the flashlight as it's whitebalancing feature is so good that my photo turns out to be what I want. Problems: Using the flash may overexplose the picture

If I use 128MB (from Film) I can't use the option 'Panorama'. I formated the memory but still. Anyone has the same problem? With the 'Olympus SmartMedia' I don't have any problems. Does anyone know if it is because of the menory type or ....? Problems: no 'Panorama'

I own an Olympus C-700, which is my first digital camera and I was forced to choose it based only on recommendations from coworkers (and their recommendations were based purely on specs and Olympus' reputation). I work at a computer store which sells digital camers, btw. Anyways, getting back to the point. Having owned my camera for nearly a year, I can honestly say I'm dissapointed with the lens quality and color saturation. Very rarely do I snap pictures that look sharply focused, ...
