Problems:

Very capable for its size, this can be a very good travel camera. The optical quality is very good. There may be 5X optical cameras that have less chromatic aberration, but probably not this small, and it's not a big problem. The camera looks and feels very well made (made in Korea). The battery and xD card compartment door probably has to be handled carefully, but it opens smoothly and closes securely. Some reviewers on other sites criticize the ergonomics of the pop-up flash, but I ...

I seriously love this camera. And since it's now been discontinued, I'd urge interested folks to get one while they can. My old Minolta dImage was stolen abroad and I bought an overpriced entry-level Oly to get me through the trip. When I got home, I figured I'd look for a better replacement that also used my costly Xd card. I was going to get the Fuji E550 till I found out about mechanical zoom problems, and after much research (including this board) settled on a refurbed C7000, which turned ...

I just received my new c-7000 last week, and I'm thrilled with it! The ergonomics and build are great. It's compact enough to carry in my purse. but feels comfortable and secure in my hands (and I'm use to shooting with SLR). I also found it very easy to use. Normally I have a difficult time with electronic interfaces, but the menu system was a breeze; I was making setting adjustments without checking the manual. Images are very detailed and clear. And I was amazed by the auto exposure. ...

I have this camera about 2 weeks now. it realy have exelent ergonomics. Exept some negative explane later. the picture qalitie is high verry high for an compact camera the raw mode have some excelent dimension to it. the camera is fast,to start up but slow to whrite the pictures to the xd card. review of the pictures are also to slow. 2 sec to view an picture is to long waiting. 15 sec to 1/2000 is good for this type of camera. I love the white balance tweeking in the camera. verry sharp ...

best 225 dollar camera on the market. Easy to use, better then average zoom and accuracy in color. The only reason I don't give it a 5 is because its hard to get tack sharp photos as in best in class. The photos are accurate and suprisingly good, but not dsl quality , but heck its good for what its suppose to do. Its small , a cinch to take with you and it takes good photos . I just would not rate it 4.6 or higher. The camera is priced in the used market right where it should be. If the ...

I've used this camera for three months and taken thousands of photographs with it. I had little prior photography experience (I used a 4MP point-and-shoot Olympus for one year prior to purchasing it). I wanted a compact camera with high resolution and good zoom (I crop a lot). I also wanted the option of full manual control, a rich feature set, and good quality video. The C-7000 has delivered extremely well on all counts. First of all, the 7MP images are excellent quality and exhibit low ...
