White balance sometimes too neutral ...

Absolute control (manual focus/exposure), imaging (including Macro and Supermacro); 7.1MP + 5X zoom. Excellent controls & menus; fits in a small pocket. Since it's "obsolete," you can get incredible prices from, say, Ebay (~$100). Problems: Autofocus in low light is so bad that manual focusing is required, and manual focusing is a bit dicey in low light also.

I've been using this camera for 3 years without any problem! She did all I'd like to do when I wanted to do so! I made almost 3000 shots and I kept 90% of them. Colors and details are simply amazing. I own a Nikon d70 too but the colors of this little wonder remain undefeated! A very interesting feature is the remote control. I'm still waiting that Olympus produces a camera with similar features. Problems: Dust in the viewfinder, but... who cares!

Outstanding image quality, plenty of controls and features (there is even a "pixel remapping" option available!), very good lens Problems: Not easy to discover advanced options and once this is accomplished, it's not easy to reach them (complicated menu).

I bought this camera after almost two years of researching the market. I had C-50, and was very happy with it, but I was trying to find something better, more manual options. So, when it first came on market it was too much money, and I was not so much happy with design, and with a limit for movies of 20sec. I was waiting for “C-80/8000”, that never happened, and all new Oly cameras was so under Oly quality. SP350 looked nice, and have some good options, but after I read many users opinion, ...

I am using the C7000Z (C70Z) for more than a year and I fully agree with the review in Plus and Minus points especially for autofocus. Everything is still working as supposed. Problems: A BIG Minus: camera considerably slows down with 1GB XD, startup >3sec , change mode >3sec, ... long term experiences: - optical viewfinder collects dust from inside (cannot be cleaned), - rubber grip on front starts to come loose from adhesive tape

I bought this camera 2nd hand for a very good price and was blown away by the image quality and excellent built quality. Olympus' built quality is one of the key reason why I always come back to buy an Olympus. I used to have a C-5050Z and love its F1.8 lens but the C-70 more than make up for its slower F2.8 lens with its exceptionally good high (for a non-DSLR) ISO performance. ISO 400 is certainly very usable and exceeded my expectations. If this camera has a wide angle lens on it, it will ...
