Opinion: If only they had sound with their video.
Opinion: I've tried this indoors and out. Good autofocus. Good exposure. Tends
to grab foreground for focus in long distance shots unless you are
careful. Camera is easy to use. Excellent with lithium batteries. Shot
all day (about 60 shots), LCD on, zooming in and out, batteries still
have life in them. Love being able to use AAs instead of proprietary
batteries. Camera body bigger than some in class, but still compact
enough for a jacket pocket. Overall, this camera shows that Olympus
still builds excellent small cameras.
Problems: The clamshell lens cover/on switch feels chintzy. You have to be very
careful when opening to be sure to open through the last click. I had
to stop to open the cover fully a couple of times. The smartmedia
cover door also feels flimsy. The wrist strap wraps around the
smartmedia cover door hinge, this makes me nervous.
Opinion: good for me
Opinion: I have the model D-550 Z same as C-300 Z
I have this camera for 3 months
Very easy to use I took about 300 pictures in HQ and 3 to 5 pictures is not nice in all this bunch, the camera is for something because I'm a biginner the only little experience I do have is with conventional camera.
I sent 100 pictures 4 x 6 to a photo lab and the quality is nice as a 35mm even 8 x 10
NiMH Batteries life is very good.
Problems: The only disadventage it's the lens cover
as long you open and close and open and close . . .
there is some scratch on the camera case and
sometime the lens try to open at the first click cover position , I bring back the camera to the store
and they give me an other one that one seem OK
