The C3000 was the 3rd serious digital that I acquired new in the fall of last year. I had an issue with the first one and exchanged it for another (stuck pixel). Target exchanged it without even opening the box! After about 30 days of use, I returned it and went with another brand (big, costly mistake). I have been waiting for the 5-6 MP prices to level off (and been making do with the Canon C330, 2 MP) and decided to search out the C3000 again since I saw the new model (C3020) come out. ...

Great camera that is easy to use with good picture quality output. Problems: Photo exposures looked correct on the digicam screen, but under-exposed when viewed on PC. Anyone else facing the same problem, or the camera is due for a repair?

Takes excellent pictures but a pitifully poor design and layout! Ever work with any of the Sony Mavica's - much easier to scroll around, get a menu, review your shots and a much more logical layout. Comes with a measley 8meg card - What is that? Cheap Junk! Need at least a 128meg card with another as a backup. No rechargeable batteries included, no charger! What is that! Paid much too much ($499) for as little as I got. This camera's being replaced sometime soon with something having Foveon ...

The C-3000 was my first digital camera I ever bought and I think it works pretty good. Problems: There are however some problems with the C-3000. For instance, the shutter speed only goes up to 1/800 of a second; it doesn't shoot quite fast; the furthest telephoto lens you can have on it is a 200mm lens.

Just bought the camera about 2 weeks ago. The camera is easy to use with plenty features considering the cost. The image quality is also very good. The layout of the camera is excellent, but as you've probably read on other reviews the lens cap is almost shouting at you 'lose me' Would like to try an external flash but I'm not willing to pay up £400 for an Olympus one. Can any other flash be used with this camera? Even the cable for the flash is very expensive at £50. On the whole though ...

Being an old SLR user I was skeptical at first about using any digital camera. Then my wife gave me this one for Christmas in 2000. What a pleasant surprise! Excellent pics and very easy to configure. With the addition of 1700 mAh rechargeables and a good (Maha) charger I am always ready to shoot. A careful reading of the manual with camera in hand is necessary to get all out of the camera it is capable of. Problems: As stated before, the lens cover is a joke.

I have purchased or used the following digital products. The Fujifilm S1 Pro, Cannon D-30, Nikon D1x, Nikon 990 and 995. I got this camera about ten months ago for free. But I would say the price camera stores are asking is about right for this product compaired to the others above. It is a very simple camera to use in full auto mode as a point and shoot. Or even in manual mode how I use it 98% of the time. The color histogram when viewed in Photoshop 6.0 shows the camera is recording the ...
