A perfect middle of the road camera that is well worth the expense for the amateur photographer. I just love mine !!! Problems: none at all

Good cam, but consider the C-2040 I had my C-200 for a week, and decided to throw in extra money and get the Olympus C-2040Zoom instead - it has a *far* superior optics - try looking at some sample photos from both cams, e.g. at "Steve's digicams" Problems: None

Problems: Will not work on my Windows 2000 Pro machine, Olympus says it does not require any drivers etc, Win2000 does detect it but as a disk drive ?, does not include it on Scanners and Cameras list. Camera works 100% but connecting to PC appears to be impossible. Any one out there who can point out (my seemingly) simple overlooked mistake, I would be a happy dude. Cheers all.

Like most people I compared cameras within my price range (£300) and think I made the best choice! Here's why: It's small enough to fit in a coat pocket. Takes AA size batteries. Has a built in lens shield (many others are exposed) Saves as JPG and TIFF and in loads of resolutions. Quicktime movies look better than I expected. Fast lens for its price/type. Win 2K recognised it straight away. All in all very happy with it d:-) Problems: None

Very good value for money. Slightly better image quality than expected from a camera this size at this price (printed some beautiful 18x24 cm pics with my HP 990Cxi), easy to use and carry with you, clever construction. Perfect as a family camera. Problems: If you want superior image quality, choose a larger, more expensive camera (small cameras like this always have their limitations, especially lens-wise). Eating batteries (aren't they all?) 8 MB memorycard included is a joke, i bought a 64 ...

Surpised to find it also shoots QuickTime movies. Overall very happy with my new purchase, but 8MB of memory? I know all cameras come with 8, but it's time everyone upgraded... Problems: The interface isn't exactly intuitive...

Just starting to shoot with this camara and I must agree he looks and feels good. Image quality is fair for a 2.1 pix camara. Low batery consumption. My little girl of 4 years has taken over 500 pictures with this cam and she did well. Problems: Non so far

A very good camera even if it's a kind expensive. Good autofocus. Problems: Bad quality with the 400iso mode.
