I HAVE JUST BOUGHT THIS CAMERA AND IT IS EASY TO USE UP AND RUNNING IN MINUITS. BUY A UNIROSS BATTERY CHARGER AND Ni-MH BATTERIES A MUST HAVE TAKEN 43 H.Q PICS AND DOWNLOADED BEFORE BATTERIES WENT FLAT. DOWNLOADS ARE QUICK AND UNCOMPLICATED THIS IS MY FIRST DIGITAL CAMERA AND EVERY SITE VISITED RECOMENDS IT. BOUGHT MINE FOR 150 POUNDS FROM DIXONS WHICH IS THE CHEAPEST PLACE. IMAGE QUALITY SEAMS GOOD AND RED EYE FUNCTION REALLY WORKS. MENUS EASY TO WORK AND IT IS SMALL AND LIGHT. Problems: BAT ...

I think it is fab, I really enjoy using it and take it everywhere. Problems: The only problem I 'had' was that I didn't have enough batteries because I was using it so much!

This camera is a nice introduction to the world of digital photography, being both simple to use and capable of very good quality results. Used with Nickel-Metal hydride batteries I have experienced no problems whatsoever in terms of battery life. It is a compact, lightweight and quite sturdy device, which offers almost everything I need, especially at this price point. Problems: None

Constuction: Not to flimsy, nice buttons, good lens protection. Features: Movie mode, macro, night scene flash, red eye reduction: what more do you want? Ease of use: Had it up and running within 3 mins. Value for money: Brilliant at £169.34 from Currys, 16mb SmartMedia included :-) Image quality: 2.0 megapixel, pretty good for price. Movie mode a bit grainy. I think this camera is excellent! I love digial photography. Problems: None. Drinks batteries like hell.

Had C-2 for about a month now and can safely say i have had many hours of fun experimenting with different types of shots. Outdoor daytime shots are exellent with good colour and sharpness, indoor portait shots are very good too with the red eye reducing flash mode. Close up Macro shots are particularly good 10 cm distance from subject you can do allsorts of artistic creative shots which can be altered on PC for some great printouts. I would recomend buying Uniross Photo battery charger ...

Got a C-1 for Christmas which I replaced for the C-2 as the image resolution was pretty good, but the compression artifacts annoyed me (which the C-2 doesnt produce as noticeably at all). Image quality is really good, for viewing on computer in max.quality mode, u can zoom in quite a way. And the colours are very good in most environments, though I found use of the flash up close (<2m?) produced slightly overexposed images inside. Video functions are very cool, 1min mini-videos are great, ...

Very good fixed focal length camera. It is small, light, easy to use, and gives good results. Good exposure options (compensation and spot mode). Some very useful features (hold settings, panorama, sequence). Good build quality (albeit in plastic). Allows you to keep settings from one session to another (ie turn off flash, get rid of the beep etc). Only two batteries required at a time, so one set can be in the charger while the others are in the camera. Software is basic but works well. I ...

Bought as a second camera for pocket-carrying anywhere. With this in mind, fulfills expectations, however lacks any form of manual control. Build quality prety good, as is image quality. Exposure in most instances seems spot on - checking levels in Photoshop reveals no need to adjust. Quick to power up. Problems: Noisy on power-up. Beep loud - cannot be turned down, only off.

I chose the C2 as it has enough features and manual overides for me to be in conrol and is really slim and compact and not too expensive. As my first digital it is a great toy to use but comparing it to my old Olympus XA 35mm compact 10x8 prints are much inferior, so I will only use it for small prints, email etc. The lens sharpness appears to be lower than the ccd resolution (and C.A. at the corners). Good points: quick to use, quick to look at last pic taken, slim, good viewfinder, quick ...
