I Bought this camera three weeks ago and was highly dissappointed by the picture quality. This camera is only good for posting web & Email pictures. Pls dont buy this and instead spend a little more for a decent camera.

I have just received this model for Christmas and after loaning a C-60 from a freind to test photographing my art work I was very impressed with the C-60. Not so the C-1. It is fine for normal shots but my art comes out a lot grainier and this can't be smoothed out with software. The image quality is lower than the C-60 and there are better cameras for the same price. Compact and easy to use. Was very happy with previous model 960 which got stolen. This one uses only 2 batteries and is much lighter. Problems: Couldn't believe it when I discovered that the USB connection does not support Windows NT (which is what I've got on my PC). Luckily I've got a Flash Path adapter but for everyday use I would have preferred USB. Does a driver for NT exist??? What about XP - that's not even mentioned in the manual.

The problem was that I couldn't transfer the pictures to my brand new computer which runs on Windows200ME. Therefore it was very poor value for money. By the way, afterwards I bought the Nikon Coolpix 880 and I am very, very happy with it! Problems: Couldn't transfer the pictures to the Computer (with USB!). Didn't get an answer from the Olympus "Help Desk", although I tried 8 times. The ...
