Opinion: this is my second point and shoot camera, my first one was agfa c20, it was but i lost it. the olympus d-100 is a better build and has a better image but as far as software is concern, there is no comparison to the supplied by afga, theirs is much easy to use and much more superior.
Problems: i had the camera almost a month now, i haven't confront with any problem yet. it's very easy to use and quite comfortable.
Opinion: how is it possible to give 5 stars to a 1.3 mio. ?? - well because they don't come better - for a 1.3 mio. point - and - shoot - Bought the camera for my daughter who is six - and she's shooting away - great pictures every time - it's simply an exelent camera to take snapshots - just remember not to print to large copies - after all it's only 1.3.
Problems: No problemos
Opinion: I've had the D-100 for about a month. I wasn't expecting much, since I mainly bought it for its extremely low price (found it on Ebay really cheap). Its image quality is great at 640x480, but in high quality mode it tends to be a bit grainy, especially in poor lighting. I guess that's to be expected with any 1.3MP camera.
Battery life is OK, but it goes through NIMH batteries fairly quickly, depending on how often the LCD display and flash are used though.
All in all its a good camera for the price. The USB connectivity is great. Auto-detects as a removeable disk drive. I have and will continue to recommend it to my friends who are looking for decently priced point and shoot type digital cameras.
Problems: None
Problems: photos in 1280x960 resolution has noise, more in dark.
640x480 - clean
