So if I buy a Nikon 1 system, eg Nikon 1 V3, they have their Nikon CX 70-300 mm lens that gives this 1-inch sesnor camera an equivalent focal length of 810mm, with full AF and image stabilisation. Thats a useful and highly light and mobile tool for wildlife etc, although not even close to where the newest super zoom bridge cameras can now achieve. So my question is what is the longest useable focal length achieveable with the latest Olympus micro 4/3 sensor cameras? i know there are 300 mm...

The battery for the Nikon 1 V3 is supposed to be the Nikon EN-EL20A (7.2V, 1110MAh, 8Wh). I want a second battery, but its not that easy to get and ship to my country due to lithium ion batteries being treated as a hazardous material. Does anyone know if a Nikon EN-EL20 (as opposed to EN-EL20a) would work, as on one website it said this was for a list of Nikon cameras including the V3, but e battery specs are slightly different, eg it says 7.4wh. Or is there are reliable third party battery...

First off just want to apologize if this has been talked to death here but I can't find anything recent about this topic. I've only been in the M4/3 camp for a very short time period, and while I am loving the versatility and ruggedness my EM1 + 40-150 PRO lens is giving me I often find myself wanting just that little bit more DoF control. I also worry that the 12-40 PRO lens will just exasperate this problem. Being a primarily zoom shooter (I'm lazy) and coming from FF (I know, I know, groan...

Until two years ago, I was still using film cameras. After switching, I was shooting in JPEGs and using iPhoto for cropping and minor tweaks. But when I got my Olympus E-M10, I started shooting RAW and was using Olympus Viewer 3 for post processing. I still consider myself in post-processing kindergarten but I keep learning a little more each time I use OV3. Then I got a Nikon 1 V3 which I had for several months and then replaced it with a Panasonic GM5 but, quickly realized that I had to go...

I posted this in the Printer/Printing forum. But I think I may get more answer here. Did anyone with this printer updated to Windows 10? If so, does the printer work after the update? I had a different Epson device (Perfection V30 scanner) that according to Epson's website, the driver should work with Windows 10. But the driver was dated 2009 and it didn't work with W10. I checked the R2000 driver that Epson claimed to be for W10, but the date was from 2011. So I am a little skeptical. Would...

Hi, I am thinking of buying a Nikon 1 V3 (+ EVF + grip) for use in wildlife and bird photography. I often jog or ride a mountain bike with my camera, and shoot stuff in the wild, not a zoo/park/sanctuary, so zoom is important but also mobility. Weight wise up to 2.5KG would probably be ok. I would like 1200mm equivalent, so the V3 + CX 70-300mm is a little too short. A 1-inch sensor might just be what I need to allow me to graduate from a super zoom bridge camera to a real camera capable of...

The X-T10 did have a different  Jpeg size/compression then the X-T1 did have with firmware v3.11. With firmware v4, do they now have the same size/compression which result in sharper JPeg files?

Greeting, I am trying to find a two piece case that can accommodate the V3 body with grip and the 30-110 lens. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
