Metabones IV V4.9 not support EF 35 F1.4 Lii on A7R2 V3.2? Hi dears, recently I bought an EF 35 F1.4 Lii and mounted on A7R2 V3.2 with MC-11, and it works quit well. Today I try to use Metabones IV V4.9 to mount it but found it can't focus at all... So I try to use other lens to test, and found: Sigma 50 1.4 ART is also not working. it works before of course. EF 50 1.8 STM did work like before. nothing wrong, so I can say the Metabones is working correctly. it's just not support above two...

Whatever the future of the N1 system, I have, 'with eyes open', invested a fair bit in it and there is no way that I'm going to invest in a new latest-and-greatest system from any manufacturer - including Nikon, even if they come out with a larger sensor mirrorless system and certainly not the new DLs if/when they ever arrive. So it's here to stay. So the question, and GAS, being what it is: Do I invest in a J5 (prices dropping) with a better sensor than my V1 (love the grainy B&W images) or...

I have made the decision to buy a Benro Tripod (TMA38CL) . The current price is listed at $410. While researching this I came across a bundle (TMA38CLV3 ) including this tripod and also the Benro V3e ballhead. This bundle is listed at $550. On it's own this ballhead (Benro V3e ) is listed at $210.  If bought individually these would be priced at $620.  So it's definitely better to buy the bundle.   Before I came across the bundle I was planning on buying the Sirui K-30x or K-40x.  After...

I bought  one Nikon 1 Nikkor VR 70-300 F/4.5-5.6 for use with my V3 through Nikon India Pvt Ltd,New Delhi (India) . The delivery took almost  two months. There are no retailers in India for Nikon 1 cameras or  lenses and many even do not know whether such a thing exist.  The lens has come without tripod mount (tripod mount TR-N100).  I strongly feel this item is essential to be able to mount this  on a tripod. Even this item is not available in India. I have searched the net. My question is...

I just acquired a used D3S for cheap and am curious about how fast it writes to its CF cards.  I will probably be buying some new CFs for it and don't want to waste money on cards that are more capable (and expensive) then they need to be.  Simply said, at what data rate (write speed) does the card delay the camera in emptying its buffer? --TomNikon D3S, D810, D750, Nikon 1 V3, J5Sony a6000IR, a6300, a5100Oly E-P2IRand Lots-O-Lenses

Maybe still too early to ask for a test between A7II and A6300 since the A6300 was just available on the shelves recently and the V3.10 firmware was out a day or two only. But any tests so far as to the AF speed difference between the A7II and A7rII. I would assume the A6300 is at least just as fast as the A7rII so the A7rII is a pretty good benchmark point I guess. Any videos out there showcasing the speed difference, or at least a rough percentage difference?

Does anyone have a suggestion where to look for help for an old dog trying to learn new tricks? I ran into an obstacle when trying to upgrade my X-E2 firmware from v3.0 to v4. Downloaded the firmware from Fujifilm site but my computer won't let me open the file to transfer it to a memory card. I am using Mac OS 10.10.5 on a MacBookPro.

Am I reading his right? Using the mechanical shutter they will do 1/2000 flash sync? They do list a leaf/iris shutter... (From: http://imaging.nikon.com/lineup/dl/18-50_f18-28/spec.htm) Shutter Speed = Mechanical shutter: 1/2000 to 30 s Flash sync speed = Mechanical shutter: Synchronizes with shutter at all speeds This would be very similar to the V3, electronic = 1/60 and mechanical 1/250th.

I suspect this has been asked before but I don't know how to search it. My 128GB SSD that has the operating system, programs and Lightroom catalog is maxing out and I would like to transfer everything to a new 256GB SSD. How do I do this? You can direct me to instructions. Is there anything I should be looking out for in terms of compatibility between the two drives? Also, is this a good SSD? It is only $60 on sale.
