I got it with two kit lenses 18-55Vr and 55-200Vr at a phantastic price at ebay. I am very amazed about the high quality output and the nice features and easy handling. For some more buttons and feat. you have to pay a lot more for a D90 which cannot make "better" pictures. After testing a D90 of my friend some days (a stunning good cam...) i still love my baby. Highly recommended !!

I used to own a D70 and a D300 but needed a lighter alternative for everyday shooting. All I can say is this camera rocks. It is so small and light I want to carry it everywhere I go. This even opens up some new photography opportunities as I carry it almost everywhere I go. Construction is nice and it feels solid. Image Quality is very good up to ISO 800 and ISO 1600 is also very good if you don't underexpose. Colors are punchy out of the camera. It is also very easy to use. Coming from a ...

I use this camera with an Nikkor 18-200 and I love it despite the fact, that such a superzoom is only a compromise. Image quality from the zoom is only ok, but when you are hiking in the mountains, you cannot change lenses and you do not want to carry more weight. So it is a perfect deal! Very handy and fast to use! Problems: As documented and viewable in http://www.dpreview.com/lensreviews/nikon_18-200_3p5-5p6_vr_afs_n15/page3.asp this lens delivers a strange background blur. As you would ...

Not to rain on all the accolades, but here are the annoyances for those interested: -Cannot turn off rear display, unless your face is up to the viewfinder - annoying in concert halls (rear display off setting only lasts until next touch of shutter button) -Charger has a big seperate cord and not too sure about the battery life. Also, fully charged battery read as nearly dead for awhile. -Mode dial is easily accidentally knocked to different/unwanted setting -Poor incandescent white balance ...

I have used mine for more than a year with (18-55 VR) and (55-200 VR) Nikkor lenses. Have made more than 3000 shots till now. It's compact and very simple to use. Image quality is almost perfect under ISO 400. Dust removing system works good. Problems: Not yet!

For me, the D60 is a nearly perfect compact DSLR. I began my excursion into the DSLR world with the Olympus 4/3 system, which is a fantastic system, period. What lured me away from Olympus to the Nikon DX DSLR system was the simultaneous introduction earlier this year of the now widely acclaimed 16-85mm VR zoom lens and the D60 DSLR, which has a built-in dust reduction system. IMO, the IQ of the D60, when used in RAW capture mode with the 16-85mm zoom lens, is a notch above that of the ...

Excellent camera. Lightweight, easy to use, and very consistent metering. Focus accuracy with the kit lens is very good. Problems: Had an issue with hot pixels. Nikon fixed it with no charge (covered by warranty). Also, more AF points would be nice. The main competition has at least 5 more, so nikon can't make any excuses here. Otherwise excellent.
