The D60 is an wonderfull camera, have exelent color,Exelent 18-55-VR lens. Fast operation, and long live batterie, the viewing schreen is not bad,but could use abit more pixels,in high contrast wether the LCD schreen is hard to see,I also noted the LCD schreen have alot reflection, when its shut down,Afcours it is just to viewing your pictures, but on sunny days it is hard to see, when you want to check pictures are sharp. After Pentax K100 Super, which was a bad experience for me, this Nikon works like a dream. -Image quality is very good at default settings and excellent after little corrections. I think the output is a little bit too flat in this camera. Pictures look better when sharpness and contrast is rised(+1 seemes to be OK). -No problems with pictures in strong sunlight and bright conditions (Pentax usually taked dark pictures with unnatural colours). -Very good LCD. -Very effective image stabilizer ...

500 photos in a week with this, my first DSLR, and I'm already hooked. I love the rich tones and vibrant colours that appear with each photo I take. My 18-month old son no longer looks like a zombie, but has red cheeks (he's teething!), light brown hair, and deep brown eyes. All I can say is wow right now. I've given it an Ease Of Use score of 3.5 because I'm still at the steep part of the learning curve. Once I get more use out of the different settings, I'll probably bump this up a bit... ...

I have had this camera for about a year now. I can honestly say that I have no negative comments, I totally love it. Compared to my previous camera (which I will not name), this one was a breeze to get to know and learn with. It didn't take me long to get used to all the buttons and features, all of them are very user friendly. At first I thought that it would be too small for me, seeing as my previous cam was much bigger and heavier, but it turned out to be a perfect fit! If you are an ...

Small but fine... Problems: No ground problems, but: - no bracketing! - SD door is to easy to self-open. PS - too small for my fingers... ;)

My wife has given me the D60 as a present! It is an outstanding camera, easy to use, with plenty of useful functions, and full-manual mode (aperture, shutter speed and focus). It has a very good frame rate (about 3 fps) and an excellent image quality. The AF and flash work both at high speed, and the camera turns on in about a second. Problems: I have yet not encountered any problems, but the price. Here in Argentina, the D60 costs about u$s 1000, which is quite expensive.
