Fast, strong and the best DX Nikon ever. The movie feature is not important to me. I wish a little more MP (14 at least). The high ISO reductor is very aggresive. Problems: The grip of my old D90 was better for my hand.View review in forums Leave a comment on this review
I found myself in some turmoil recently trying to decide if I should change from my favoured camera manufacture Canon to Nikon. The technical choice currently available between the two manufactures is truly mind blowing. If you’re like me once you have decide which camera to go for, researching it can leave you feeling over informed and even more confused over you choice. I originally started looking at the slightly older D90 which is a well received DSLR, but for me I found the body weight ...View review in forums Leave a comment on this review
I loved the feel of the D300S, and the photographic results, I've seen, but one thing made it a no-buy for me :-(! Problems: When looking for a DSLR I had some hands-on time with a lot of different DSLR cameras, including the D300S, and sadly found the camera made for bigger hands than mine, or my wife's - so I bought the K-x instead - not quite as capable, but good in bad lighting, and that was my premium reason for getting one in the first place - in good lighting conditions even a small ...View review in forums Leave a comment on this review
This camera is simply amazing. I upgraded from my trusty d200 which i had for 5 years or so. Although it is not a quantum leap from the old body, is sure is worth them money. Its, fast, solid, intuitive, and has all the features i could hope for. I can now happily shoot at 1600iso without thinking twice, a bit too noisy for my taste at 3200iso. I would stop at 600asa with my old d200. The build quality really is second to none. Have used it for regularly for 6 hours in -25oC temps without ...View review in forums Leave a comment on this review
