Hello to everybody, the last week I was asked my friend for help with selection of UZ camera. She wanted to UZ Nikon, I reccommended P610 as all around camera. OK, we were together in camera shop where I tested new P610 (just came to shop). Hmm .. I really like the sharp lens even on telephoto end but I noticed two really strange thing. The first (but this piece must have been lemon) was that occasionally when shutter was clicked, photo wasn´t taken! Sometimes was taken e.g. 1 and more second...

Several times my Epson P600 stops printing after 20-25% of the job is done. It will print one side of the image and then spit out the paper. I'm printing one color image on 13x19 sheet of Exhibition Fibre from Lightroom on a PC using Windows 7. Advice is appreciated as I'm wasting a lot of paper.

I have owned my Epson Stylus R1900 for many years now, and it has served me well.  Moreover, I have learned many of its foibles, especially when it comes to printing on Epson Velvet Fine Art paper (there really is a secret handshake).  Last year Epson released several new printers, including the P600 and the P400.  The P600 looks like a clear upgrade from my R1900, but in a few searches for reviews about it, I've found reports from several owners who have had mechanical problems with it.  The...

Hi all, I purchased a Coolpix p600 a few months ago. Really enjoyed it so far. Last week while backpacking the EVF started acting up on me. When switching from LCD display to EVF, sometimes the EVF was blacked out, sometimes it would hold the image, and then later lapse into a gray static image. Now, when I switch to the EVF I will intermittently get a backlit grey pixelated scene. Kind of like the old rabbit-ears televisions when they were on the wrong channel. Everything else on the camera...

So looking at the ICC profiles it looks like Moab Colorado Fiber Satine has the widest gamut of any paper I looked at on the Epson P600, beating out PhotoRag Baryta, and Canson Baryta (the two other widest gamut papers I've seen) by a good bit. So has anyone used this paper? Is the stock profile from Moab wrong, or does it really have that much wider of a gamut?

One of the Bald Eagles was on his perch across the lake. I got the camera ready and he left, of course. Snapped one of the house just to look at, at home. Does it pass the 100% test, well no, but how good should it be? The dead trees are 600yds. and the house is beyond that. Both photos had a lot of noise. I compared one taken earlier with a P600. They were comparable even with the P600 higher zoom than my S1. Explanation:  The first photo was taken weeks ago, just used it to show the...

I am inquiring if anyone has received there rebate checks from the recent $50 and $250 rebates offered with the purchase of the p600/800 printers.  I purchased mine on 12/17/15 through B&H and followed instructions for both rebates.  What is the typical turnaround for those checks?

I just got an Epson P600, overall I'm very happy with the printer, but when I try to print borderless 8.5x11 the print comes out crooked by a couple mm. It's not a huge deal, because I don't plan on printing borderless much, and I could always just trim the print to fix it. I've tried both the normal feed tray, and the front tray, same results with both. It doesn't appear to happen when I print with borders, but I haven't measured, so it might just be that it's off by so little that I can't...
