A question for those who own Nikon superzooms like P610 or P900. Have any of you tried to use these amazing superzoom cameras for Astrophotography (AP)? I know many of you are mostly birders, and nature photograpphers. But I have an interest in using a superzoom for AP. I have used my older Nikon P100 superzoom to see Jupiter's moons and Saturn's rings. I have been successful in using SLRs (former Canon user) in the 35 mm film days. Since the advent of digitals, I switched to P&S Nikon P100. Now I am just getting into DSLRs with the purchase of a brand new D5200. I was hoping to use "M" mode for some of the Astrophotography work I had planned. Hello. This is my first post on the forum. I do quite a lot of fishing. It is nice to get a photograph of yourself holding a special catch, but this is hard to achieve when you are alone! The way I have thought up to make this easier is to have a camera that has a screen that faces you so you can get nicely into the frame. Then use a "intervalometer" to take a shot every couple of seconds for about a minute. A basic remote is of no use, as I will be holding the fish and will therefore be...
