Hello everyone, I've read almost every thread on here with questions regarding the comparison of the FZ300 and the FZ1000, so I apologize for beating a dead horse, but none of them have really had the same questions I feel the need to ask. I'm looking to get a new camera as the superzoom I have now (Coolpix L120: 14MP, 21x zoom, no manual controls) is quite old and very slow with focus, even when it's not zoomed in all the way. I was previously looking at both the Coolpix P900 and the P610...
I'm looking to upgrade an old Nikon Coolpix L120. I've been looking at both the P610 and the P900 but I can't seem to make up my mind. I use my current camera for quite a few different things - everyday life, nature, and sporting events. The zoom is my main priority because I tend to do a lot of long distance shooting at sporting events but I'm also concerned about shutter speed. I like the idea of the 83x zoom and the dual detect optical VR of the P900 as I do a lot of handheld shooting but...
I have a Coolpix L120. A while ago it got rather damp, taking photos on a rainy day. It started to "play up". It began by starting in movie mode when I switched on. I was able to get into photo mode by switching off the movie mode. Then the first screen would ask if I wanted to delete the previous photo when I switched on. I was able to say "No" and then take photos. If I altered the exposure setting, it would not let me change back, though eventually it would allow it. Now, a couple...
I'm just so confused on which they both seem like great cameras, I can't see the difference between them rather than one is mirror-less rangefinder and the other is a Slr likes mirror-less, and the price difference, which would you recommend I get? I shoot mostly family portraits (in and out) Nature/scenery (Urban/city photos included) I'm locked on these two cameras just don't know which one to get. I live in Turkey a small city that's far from Istanbul so I don't have a chance to get a feel...
Hi all, my family uses the L120 for some time and me as well. I am thinking of buying my own camera. Here are the things to note: - I am not an avid photographer nor do I have deep knowledge on the subject. Because of this, at least for the 1st model, it need not be too deep when it comes to functions. - I plan to use the camera on my travels, including sailing, Bangkok at night, rainforrests, african plains... - I am willing to spend up to 1000 or so $. - I will buy the camera in Europe...
I am a mother of a 7 month old, but also like to take pictures not only of her but of landscapes, cars at the dragstrip, car shows, airplanes taking off and in the sky, etc. I need a camera that can do these things. I had a point and shoot camera L120 (or something like that, it broke :-( ) but it felt not up to my standards and I ended up bored with it anyway. Time to upgrade to a dslr but dont know where to start. I went to my local shop (Camcor, if anyone lives in the Burlington, NC area)...
Well my friend wants to buy my 2 year old Nikon L120 , I told him I'll sell it to him for 200 liras about 90 Dollars, İs this a good deal? I mean the camera is in excellent shape, am I being ripped off or is he being ripped off? --M. Sinan LayikBeginner in photography, doing it as a hobby.
I am looking to buy a point and shoot in the $200 - $350 range that is good in low light and capturing motion without it being blurry. I had previously bought a Coolpix L120 and was very disappointed with it. The primary goal is to be able to take good pictures of my small children running around the house in artificial light. (which this Nikon completely fails at) It seems like any motion or low light at all and it is blurry. My iphone 5 seems to take superior pictures (what the heck!). Size...
I am a beginner and am upgrading from my Nikon l120 and Want to get a Pentax, I want to be diffrent cause In Turkey everyone thinks Sony, Nikon, Canon or Fujifilm are the only good cameras. anyways I'm 17 and I'll be paying for the camera and I found two links one which is a K30 with two lenses and the other is a k5 with 1 lense which should I get? K30 with two lenses for 2.200 Liras or K5 with one lens for (3.000Liras but curently is ) 2.200 Liras. so which would you recommend for a...
