Opinion: Good - Compact camera i allways take L11 with me where
ever i go. Long battery life i use 2850 MAH Batterys and i
can shoot 500 photos with flash : D this was the cheapest
and best camera what i can get in latvia for 70 Lats its
about 140$ USD My third camera and my favorite cam

Opinion: This is a lovely little camera. Exceptionally easy to use, it is a real winner for those interested in beginner photography, or like myself, for having in the pocket when springing out a DSLR just is too risky/cumbersome. Because it is so cheap, its not the end of the world should it go walkies on a night out for example!

It feels nice and light, and the build quality is quite acceptable for a cheap camera.

The image quality is very good, and i like the set of features built into it such as Red Eye Reduction, Best Shot Selector, and Face Priority too. Movie picture quality is excellent, though sound is a little lacking. Not a big deal, this is a digital camera after all, not a camcorder.

My favourite feature is the Panorama Assist feature in the Scene mode. If you are into panoramic stitching, this is almost the perfect tool for you. I would like it if you could switch the camera to portrait panoramic mode. I like taking these photos because although you take more pictures, the stitched panoramic is much fatter and gives more detail. Not to worry though!

Menus are very easy to read and navigate.

Overall, a very impressive little bargain. I'll definitely be recommending it to all my friends.

Opinion: I ended up buying three L-11's for the nieces. These cameras have to be the bargain of the century! IQ is very nearly equal to my wife's Fuji z5fd and the color & white balance is outstanding. Macro is typical great Nikon.

They are very well made and exhibit good battery life. The flash is not bad at all for a sub-$100 camera.

The L-11 is the real gem of the Nikon L series.

Opinion: Great little camera for the pocket. Perfect for on-the-go.

If your looking for a super small compact point and shoot, I would seriously consider buyers to take a look. Wife loves it.

Opinion: I bought it as a, always carry with me (even when the Fuji S3 Pro has to stay home), compact and it kind of grew on me.
The amount of scenes/features is fine.
Build and usebility are ok.
Battery life seems to be endless, even with the old AA's that I don't use anymore in my Fuji.
For this price, compared to the competition, the picture quality was my reason to advise friends of mine who wanted a compact for holiday pictures to buy this one and they were also very satisfied with their beter then ever snapshots.

Opinion: Very hard to beat at $129USD - no other brands offers anything this good at this price.
Nikon has increased the pixel counts but decrease the quality and features compared to older models.
I owned the 2mp version of this camera, the 2200, and it had much better macro performance and interface was much more user friendly.
Video has not improved, still noise sound due to focusing.
I choose Nikon because their color redention in general.
This camera takes very good pictures of dark skin people like my wife.
The dark colors are not over saturated, proffesional look. Images are very clean and smooth for such a price.
Outdoors pictures on sunny days are fantastics.

Opinion: What can I say? Not exactly great build quality, but almost everything else about this
camera is way ahead of the curve. I've had my camera for approximately four weeks
and I picked it up for $129 at Office Depot. I have a couple film and digital bodies,
but find that this camera is so compact i usually carry it with me everywhere. Not
many bells and whistles, but for what it's supposed to do, it's excellent in every way.

Opinion: Ordinarily, I use a Canon DSLR, but lugging 3 plus pounds and a high-school baseball team's bat bag of gear around is a good deal less than fun. I wanted something simple and easy that I could carry in a pocket, and would be instantly available. The L11 is an excellent camera for such uses, and the fact that it takes a pair of garden variety AA batteries is a major plus. No tiny optical finder. No chargers. No hassles. Tiny SD cards are now dirt cheap.
