Cons - This camera has very bad firmware or software. 90% photos are all flooded white. If you use flash for indoor, the pictures are all white. The camera does not focus most of the time. Moreover it hangs lot of times. While clicking zoom, sometime it gets locked to one view only. The indoor video are very dark and most of time out of focus. My Samsung Galaxy Note with 8MP camera and 1080p video does 100times better pictures and video than this $350 camera. This expensive camera was a ...

AW100 does everyting I bought it to do. Find 288 test photos at: http://www.flickr.com/photos/charlieflynn After you open the box print the users manual immediately. If you can't, Staples or Kinkos can for around $27.00US. The Sweetheart Auto mode is designed for beginners. The Auto mode is where more advanced users want to shoot. Scene modes can be very handy if you understand the limitations and things you can not control. Blury pictures on Flickr are from trying to handhold at very slow ...

I've had the camera for a week before I got so annoyed with it, that I returned it. While the image-quality was OK for a waterproof-camera and the GPS worked well, there were so many issues with the firmware that bugged me. Problems: No manual controls whatsoever. For example if you wanted to take a picture at night using a tripod the only mode that will allow you to ...

I must say that after spending some time with the camera and using the scenery options and doing some test footage. This camera does a great job for the price. I have not done any underwater footage and photos at this time. Outdoors in the early morning, sunlight and overcast this camera takes amazing photos. The video quality is great but with most small cameras the image stability when moving and shooting video is not great, but it does produce some great video. For the Price, Durability ...

POSITIVES Looks and feels solid. Buttons are practical. The shake function to scroll through menu is not very responsive and i prefer to just use the buttons. Best feature is the fast shutter as you never miss the shot. The HD video feature has excellent quality.. Takes good a low light pictures without flash {but not moving objects as they often blur} Takes excellent underwater photos and video Compact and the neck strap is great idea My NEGATIVES Seems to have trouble dealing with strong ...

I have a Nikon D5000 and a Canon HD video camera which I'm very happy with, but it's cumbersome to lug my gear around when I'm traveling. This camera solves the weight problem for me. It's built to withstand abuse, it's waterproof to depths that I don't exceed, and it's got geotagging built in. If you're looking at this camera as your primary camera, I would think long and hard about how important waterproofness is to you. If you're not planning to go in the water with it or otherwise abuse ...
