Got this back in 2004 my last year in high school. This was when I wanted a camera to capture memories. After a year or so--and especially now--I realized some of the pictures I took were really really good. I didn't think I was a pro or anything, so I attributed the great photos to the camera itself. Loved how I took pictures of sunsets in Battery Park (NYC) and when the pictures were blown up, I could see the different floors of buildings across the Hudson River. Loved the image quality ...

I bought this camera for my wife. I was amazed at how good the pictures are. Excellent movie mode also. Very Happy with it. Problems: We had this camera for only a few days when we bobbled it and it fell horizontally across the floor. The lens took a hit. Lens error came up on lcd. The lens was visibly off kilter. I took it in they said it needed a new optical unit... estimate 327.00. I said no. I brought the camera home and it sat on the shelf for seven months. One day I decided to take it ...

Boy did I screw up...sold my Oly c5050 for the 7900. Big mistake. I thought the small size and 7 megapixels were a enough to make me happy... Not so...I find it nearly impossible to get an in-focus pictures and the auto-focus is woefully slow...my three year old is long gone before I can focus. It's going on ebay as soon as I find the Oly replacement for it...

I've only owned the camera a short while, but have already had great results. I read many reviews prior to my purchase and concluded the only problem which may arise is indoor/poorly lit areas.I practiced various setting and found museum setting worked quite well for taking pix without a flash for natural photo's.I found I had no problem taking shots indoors without a flash, especially if the photo didnt include people, but even taking shots with no flash I got really good results.I did practice ...

What a big disappointment this camera was ! I bought it for my girlfriend, to replace her Canon 4MP Elph, which took fantastic pictures. I had hoped that with double the pixels and the Nikon name I couldn't go wrong, but I was sadly mistaken. I've used just about every camera under the sun, and even when she loaned it to me I found this camera incapable of taking a sharp picture, under any circumstances except in macro mode with flash. Sure, you can take nice crisp closeups of the dust on a ...

I am very good impressed about the camera Nikon 7900. The picture is very good quality with 7,1 Mpx and the colours are well defined, good contrast. It is a camera ideal for me that because it's small to take everywhere. The options are very easy to use, and the AF realy works. The power of the lit battery is excellent to take a lot of picture, better that the alkaline battery of my old camera. Excellent LCD. Problems: The time to take focalisation is too long. And need a anti-shake system. ...

I really like this Nikon 7900. It takes a really fast picture. Battery lasts a long time. Pictures were very clear and I was able to enlarge all of my pictures. LCD is big and easy to view. This camera is so small and it is great for our vacations. Problems: LCD can be a bit grainy in low light..but that does not reflect the picture quality. No other problems.
