I've had this for 2 years now and it's really been my travel mate as my Minolta Dynax 7000i is a bit bulky. This little bugger really astounds me with the quality of the images. It's compact, looks good and takes quite sharp, well balanced pics. A good entry into digital as I move into an Olympus E 20 as a real man's camera. Problems: Yeah, usual sticky lens shutter problem but nothing that a little WD40 didn't solve.

I have owned my Digilux Zoom for just over a year and have no complaint with it's performance. I was rather 'forced' into the world of digital photography due to ill health and needed to down-size my kit. I have always been a Leica enthusiast and if honest it was the marque which governed my choice! I have been able to produce perfectly acceptable A3 prints using the 'Normal' quality setting and suitable printer etc. The macro setting can be used to make very good sized images of small ...

I've left all the numerical ratings at "Good" just because I really don't have any real basis for comparing this camera against others. .Like most of the other reviewers, however, I found this camera very friendly and easy to use; its pictures seemed fine to me; and I especially liked its small size and convenience for "shirt pocket" portability. Problems: I have had, however, the same problem with failure of the automatic lens cover reported by a couple of other reviewers -- twice in a row, ...

Excellent small camera with strong metal body and perfect lens. Perfect camera for webshots (I use it all the time for my Ebay-pictures, and they certainly help to sell my products). I have no experience in printing photos with this Leica. Problems: Flash is too small but I use a slave-unit and stronger flash which gives better pictures. (TIP: Keep your finger in front of the small flash if you use it for close-ups with an external slave-unit.) Unfortunately it cannot take extreme ...

Dit is de beste camera die ik ooit gehad heb, handzaam en goede beeldkwaliteit. Problems: Geen gebruiksaanwijzing in het Nederlands.

I've had this camera for a little over a year now and I'm sorry to see that it's been discontinued. If you mainly view images from your camera on a monitor (and don't print them out) this is a nearly perfect camera. However, I should point out a few weeknesses. First of all, the camera is horrible in low light situations. It is ISO 100 equivilant and the flash is very, very weak. If your shooting one or two people and there standing within five feet of the camera it's not to bad; any ...

It says "Leica"! Really cool form-factor, smaller than a pack of cards, redefines Leitz's orginal 35mm concept of a pocket camera. Small size makes it unobtrusive for people photography. Image quality is out-standing for its size (1280x1024), reproduces acceptable 8x10 prints, lower rez (640x480) excellent for web shots. Comes with PC & Mac serial cables for slowww download, Flashpath adapter is a must-have. Photoshop 5LE included. Problems: Auto lens cover jammed on original unit, rapid ...
