Opinion: The only problem I have with this camera is the battery-life, but what can you expect from such a small yet powerful (5mp) camera? The flash range isn't that great, again, because of it's function as a tiny camera. It's compact design is what attracted me the most---it's about the size of an elph, but thicker. It comes with very primitive features. I wish you could view higher than 2x zoom on the pictures when in viewing-mode.

Opinion: I am rather disappointed with this camera. I had expected a considerable jump in performance from my Leica Digilux 4.3 which had just 2.1 effective MPix going to 5 with the Kyocera. It just doesn't seem to take very good photos. I don't know if the problem is the lens (it shouldn't be since they also make most of the Zeiss lenses for my Contax RX), the sensor or the built in compression software. The photos all seem to come out rather dead with no sparkle to them. It is excellent for technical photos but what I am looking for in a tiny pocket camera is a great snapshot camera for family and holiday photos and it fails at that.
