for a discontinued camera this is good value for your money. I got it on ebay with two lenses and batteries. No complaints. I got a good bag, a tripod and wifi remote and go shooting in the French countryside. Easy to handle and good feel in your hand. Anti shake is pretty good. I bought the 5D as an impulse buy while in Singapore in 2005. I had a Minolta 500 35mm before that and had been wondering if Minolta were ever going to use their old lens system. I used this camera for about 20 months. This is my first digital SLR. I bought this camera since it has CCD shake-reduction function. It is a good camera but with some bugs. Shake-reduction fuction works, but no as good as Panasonic FZ series consumer cameras. Having actually tested and reviewed a lot of the entry level dSLRs, I decided to buy the KM DYNAX 5D, which I'd found was the best bang for the bucks. This was back in February, 2006. But I had a lot of trouble finding the camera, as all the local shops were waiting for the Sony A100 to arrive. Finally, I found a local shop selling the DYNAX 5D - and I've only come to love it even more, over the past 8 months that I've had it.

I have been researching entry level DSLR for some times and finally convinced with the 5D. It's small so I and my wife can use it together. The feature is incredible as well as the image quality. I thought I was fortunate to have a good copy of the lens kit, but when I tried with other lens the image quality is also very good. Overall I am satisfied with this camera. Problems: Accessing features is not so easy for me.
