for a discontinued camera this is good value for your money. I got it on ebay with two lenses and batteries. No complaints. I got a good bag, a tripod and wifi remote and go shooting in the French countryside. Easy to handle and good feel in your hand. Anti shake is pretty good. Images can be processed faster on commercial software and Mac Intel computers. Recommend Pixelmator for processing on a Mac.A SUPER CAMERA TO LEARN : even my poor images look reasonable on the 5D!! Problems: Slow raw ...

Good build for its class, solid construction AS is effective and works well Overall good metering, improved over the 7d. But prone to blowouts in higher contrast -0.3 ev is safe at all ISO speeds Good high ISO performance Excellent quality of jpegs, far better than most rivals Appealing colours and hues, esp good for skintones Decent battery life Hi and Lo ISO modes help tailor exposures for highlight and shadows, works well Outfeatures most of its rivals at its price range, nothing feels ...

I bought the 5D as an impulse buy while in Singapore in 2005. I had a Minolta 500 35mm before that and had been wondering if Minolta were ever going to use their old lens system. Since getting it I've never gone back to my film camera. The camera is great, and for "only" a 6MP camera, produces quality images. I've shot several weddings and have produced 24"x16" prints that are good enough to hang on walls (and people pay me for!) I got the 17-70 kit lens with it and have an old Minolta ...

Excellent image quality, easy to use (no need to search for anything at the instruction manual so far), very useful and effective it's anti-shake feature.

I used this camera for about 20 months. This is my first digital SLR. I bought this camera since it has CCD shake-reduction function. It is a good camera but with some bugs. Shake-reduction fuction works, but no as good as Panasonic FZ series consumer cameras. I put a Tamron 70-300mm lens on it, and it is dificullt to get good pictures if shutter speed is slower than 1/100 second at 300mm (my Panasonc FZ15 can be used even at 1/25 second at 420mm). The picture quality generally is good, but ...

Having actually tested and reviewed a lot of the entry level dSLRs, I decided to buy the KM DYNAX 5D, which I'd found was the best bang for the bucks. This was back in February, 2006. But I had a lot of trouble finding the camera, as all the local shops were waiting for the Sony A100 to arrive. Finally, I found a local shop selling the DYNAX 5D - and I've only come to love it even more, over the past 8 months that I've had it.

I have been researching entry level DSLR for some times and finally convinced with the 5D. It's small so I and my wife can use it together. The feature is incredible as well as the image quality. I thought I was fortunate to have a good copy of the lens kit, but when I tried with other lens the image quality is also very good. Overall I am satisfied with this camera. Problems: Accessing features is not so easy for me.

I have been a semi-pro photographer for fourty years-plus. The KM-5D is my first digital camera. I spent quit awhile researching digital camers in its price range before buying my KM-5D. I could have had a Nikon, Canon or Pentax for the same or nearly the same price, but price was not the issue for me. The many great features was a big deciding factor for me to choose the KM-5D. Anti-Shake built into the body, ISO to 3200 ( because I do a lot of available light shooting ) are but two of ...
