The first Minolta XT model I ordered, I had to send back to the vendor because it was either damaged in transit or one of those manufacturers oversight problems. Anyway, I received my second one and all I can say is big things now come in very small packages. A great camera for those that do not want the burden of carrying large chunky equipment.

Very good camera for the money spent Small, light and easy to use (I get to use a few others at work) As for the gripes of others - try setting the camera to the type of lights, standard pictures, no flash - its then quite fass enough for candid shots at parties etc Remember to lengthen the auto shut-off and keep it on all the time otherwise it will re-set Any good photographer should know this!!!! Problems: None so far!!

The best thing about this camera is that it's small enough for me to carry anywhere. I've taken many pictures that I wouldn't have otherwise. Problems: Occasional artifacts especially on night shots. It can be slow to focus especially at night, not great for actoin shots.

This is my first camera and I bought it for about 4 months now. The few things that I like about the camera is firstly, the design. It is slim and compact, which makes it a very handy gadget that you can slip into pockets. Secondly, the webcam function but it advisable to use the AC-adapter to power up the camera if long hours of conferencing is intented because the battery exhausts very fast and the camera will get quite hot after a long usuage. Thirdly, the ease of use. Afterall, it is ...

DO NOT BUY THIS CAMERA. I wish someone would tell me that before i bought mine. I went from Casio Exilim S2 to Minolta DiMAGE Xt for the features and the brand quality. I'm quite dissapointed by Minolta's Xt performance in the ultra compact range. I manage to sell off my Xt for dirt cheap and moved on to Canon Powershot SD10 (ixus i). Daylight pictures are okay, just like any other camera, but the color isn't vibrant, and the picture don't appear to be crisp sharp. The LCD is easily scratched ...

I returned this camera after a few days use. It was going to be a gift for two family members who needed an easy point and shoot camera for baby pictures. The camera is a great size for putting in your pocket. The case seems very sturdy and all the functions are fairly easy to use. I bought this camera based on the reviews on this site and others. It seemed like a great deal for a 3MP camera with a lot of extra manual functions. Problems: The downside, you can't get any decent indoor photos. ...

In the first days I was a little disappointed because of the overall image quality and features. Now, a few weeks later I think it was the best choiche for this price. I keep it with myself all the time. Here is a sample image (digitally enhanced) http://pixweb.fisher.hu/pic/autnum00.jpg.html

Easy to use, light and very well made. Portable, it fits almost everywhere so you can always take it with you. I have done a lot of photographs thanks to its portability. Image is just ok, not vey good, but it is easy to live with its quality. Medium prints are corret. It has some tendency to underexpose, but I find its metering system to be reliable and consistent (I almost always overexpose 1/3). The focus system is good, even when there is not much light. Movie mode is great. Not too much ...

This solid little camera is fun to have around. It is sturdy and exceptionally easy to use. Because of its small size it is easy to drop into a pocket and carry at all times. Unfortunately the small size can make it hard to hold still. The image quality is variable. While some images are just about perfect, the amount of grain is disappointing. This is reduced with lower ISO (50) makes blurring a real problem with the longer shutter opening. The movie mode is excellent and easy to use. Even ...
