Good camera, but 2 major problems Problems: 1. Battery life very poor, and cannot recharge batteries without buying a separate recharger 2. I got an error where I can see pics fine on the camera but not when I attach the camera or the SD card to my PC. Very very frustrating!

I have tested this camera along with Panasonic's latest models. My overall impression of Minolta's F200 is very poor for the following reasons: The camera is very noisy. The start up is slow ... not good for snap shots. The focusing is very slow. Have problem focusing in low light. The batteries drain very quickly and the camera get hot fast. I would highly recommend the 3.2 Mp Panasonic DMC-LC33 or the similar twin 4.0 Mp Panasonic DMC-LC43. It is smaller and lighter eventhough it also ...

I don't find my 10-days old F200 has slow zoom. In fact, I need slower optical zooming. Every picture is fine, indoor and outdoor. If any picture is ugly, it must be the setting or I could not hold the camera still. Without understanding all from manual book, at first, I found it difficult. Unlimited video with sound is nice for fun and surprises. Problems: - I must admit, the battery life is not satisfied.
