I had to make a choice between the F300 and the F200. I chose the F200 for the following reasons: - Unlimited movie mode - Separate zoom lever - Redefined button-layout - Anti-reflective coating on LCD - ISO800 Before I bought the F200 I got a Canon S400 (IXUS 400). I changed to the F200 for the following reasons: - Full manual controls in an ultra-compact metal body - Clean and VERY SHARP! pictures in all situations - Outstanding macro pictures, SUPER macro mode! - Nimh battery support - ...

Great camera - it handles extremely well and the level of detail is superb. Just make sure you've got a spare set of charged batteries with you! Problems: It EATS batteries - my first time out with 1850mAH batteries saw them flat within 30 shots. However, battery life seems to have picked up after a few charge-discharge cycles, but its still high. The case looks great from a distance, but scratches a lot more easily than I would have expected - maybe the case isn't really metal but some ...

It is good DC and easy to use. It only costs me GBP 225. What a bargin. The super GT lens produces very good colour. You can buy Lens adapter in http://dcplus.zapto.org/NewDCPlus.DW/pagen.php (Sorry it is in Chinese) The adapter is 37mm and only cost HK$280. Problems: Not at all.

Best features and feel I could find for $350. Best package for my international travel. I started looking on the net at big-zooms with 3 MP like the fugi 3800 8X and the Olympic 740 10X but found I did not like how they operated/felt when I acctually saw them in the flesh. Not durable enough for my field use. I was attracted to Minolta's Dimage 414 with it's 4X zoom and much better focus and feel. But the Dimage 100 won me over. The 3X optical zoom seemed like all I could effectively use ...

Before I bought my F200 I did a serious research. I read many reviews and tried several other digital cameras. In the beginning I hardly noticed the Minolta Fx00 cameras. Compared to other brands their design looks rather modest and a little bit boring to my opinion. Later as I read more and more reviews I realized that the Fx00 cameras were small gems hidden in a anonymous body. Especially the F200 which is an improved version of the F100 is great value. I have owned my F200 three weeks by ...

Its small and easy of use. I like its A/S/P/M mode, especially its amazing hidden "super wide macro" mode. The following web site shown some examples and methods of this mode: http://chinagate.yam.com/cgi-bin/g2bcgi.cgi?dest=http%3A%2F%2Fdigi.pchome.net%2F2003%2F6%2F5%2F3_48725.htm http://beb.anyday.com.tw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5527 My package costs HK$3280 from Broadway Mongkok, including F200 camera, cables, document and cd-rom, plus 16MB + 2 x 64MB SD ram, but no remote controller. Problems:

I have been using the F200 about 3 weeks and camera have worked like a dream.. I haven't found yet any big problems. Problems: only problem of this camera is to me that battery power signal is embarrasing in the beginning, but I have used to it.

I have been using the F200 for more than one week now, and made some 200 shots to test it. Generally speaking I'm quite satified with the F200, bearing in mind the reasonable price of it. Some feature I like: 1. very easy operation, very solid feeling, good design with blue color. novice like me doesn't have to feel scared by the menu system (or the 8MB pdf manual). just practise on the camera and you'll know how to use it within a few hours; 2. VERY satisfying in-camera previewing functions. ...

I returned this camera after 4 days of use. First time buyer of a digital camera, I spent 6-8 months researching and reviewing over 15 different brands/models to find the correct one. I wanted a compact model, at least 4 mega-pixel, with manual override controls for added flexibility, and under US$450. At the top of my list was the Minolta Dimage F200, followed by Sony Cybershot DSC-P9. I own a Minolta Maxxum 5 SLR (35mm), which is an exceptional film camera, so I was inclined towards Minolta. ...
