*GREAT COLORS!!! (when used in daylight) beter than all of the DigiCams I have ever put my hands on - including some much more expensive (and respected in the DigiCam world such as Olympus C 2000 zoom or Canon S10 for example) and with "great colors" I mean: - very natural and close to the actual scene reproduction - vivid, warm colors (it appears to me as if the wider (than only ISO100) ISO possibilities somehow always spoil the images in terms of vividness and colors.. don't really know why..)

I bought this camera 4 months ago at S$500 ( about US$270). Initially, I was pretty apprehensive as the camera looked kind of dumb, the dial for modes really looked like it was meant for kids. After using it on my overseas trips, I began to really appreciate its size, construct, and image quality. The prints were really great. Superb value for money camera - why discontinued? Small but manageable with excellent image quality and plenty of features for beginner and amateur alike. Spent ages looking at various cameras and for the price this one just shouted "buy me" i haven't been disappointed!! Problems: mode dial can sometimes switch on when removing from case. no lens cover. unusual (but not rare) storage medium.

This camera can be said to be one of the most affordable camera in town, with 3x Optical zoom, 2x Digital zoom and 2.0 mega pixels to back up, you will be ready for an instant photoshot anywhere, anytime. It could come with a lens cover and camera case to make it a perfect camera. Also the LCD is a little on the dark side. Problems: The LCD is a little dark but the pictures suffer no reduction in quality. LCD display dark object as black objects ... need to use the view finder to take pictures.
