Loved it! I'm a novice-amateur photographer, but I've used it to take some tabletops without any lighting (except the sun)....that had the pros wondering if it really wasn't shot in a professional studio by a pro. There was magic in every pixel. Sure I wish it had a more powerful optical zoom and battery power that laster longer. But then I also wish I was Meg Ryan's toyboy for life! At the time I purchased it, it was very good value (for a 2.3M pixel) for the money I paid. But to be fair, ...

I have had this camera for more than a year. I must have gotten one of the best because my pictures are terrific. I am a teacher and have taken many pictures of my students.(HS) We have used them as screen savers on the computer and on the TV and they are beautiful. Prints are poor, because most of the printers are not up to the camera. It takes no experience to get good results. One of the first things I added was a battey unit that Minolta doesn't mention as being an option, but I have ...

I've Had this camera for about 18 months. I love it. The photos are clear. Using the Photo suite software that came with the camera is a lot of fun. If you want major results go pay a major price. Great camera for the price. Problems: No Problems. although standard batteries I wouldn't suggest. Using photo quality batteries are great

I'm a very satisfied user of this camera. I bought this camera to use next to my minolta 3xi for quick (holiday) pictures. Advice: use 1600mah rechargeable batteries and charger. For laptop users, buy sandisk pcmcia pc-card, cheap & works great!

I have now had the camera a wek and am extremely pleased with it. The results even printing A4 size pics from the economy setting are pretty good. I would have liked a means of turning off the annoying beeps when altering settings though. It is my 1st digicam though I have an old Canon SLR and a Canon Ixus APS so am not totally ignorant about photography. The Minolta's best point though must be its price.....£219.00 from dabs .com!! Problems: none

For the money, it's a good camera. If you don't take it to seriously, the camera works fine. I have a MP3 player which uses smart-media cards, so I am very happy to exchange them with the camera. The biggest disadvantage is the flash, which is very poor! And the dial for the settings moves when you put the camera into the pocket, so you have to check the dial before you can take a picture. Problems: Flash
