With this camera you definately get what you pay for. Nothing fancy, just an average quality digital picture. I like others do not believe that it is a 2.3 mega pixel camera, my friend takes better pictures with his 1.1 mega pixel HP. The flash is useless and the photos are extremely grainy. So if you are looking for a camera to take web quality photos, outside in the dayight, of objects that aren't moving....then buy this camera. Otherwise....do your homework and buy something else. I ...

it drians the battery very fast, only for a few pictures. even for the extra-heavy duty battery that comes with the camera, it can only take about 10 pictures. anybody have similar problem?

Was never happy with this camera. Have always found it very difficult to get good results. Recently used my brothers new Olympus and was amazed at how terrible my Minolta was. In almost every respect this camera is a shambles in comparison. Nice to come to this site and see that im not alone, and that there is so much better equipment out there. Time to upgrade then me thinks. Problems: All pics come out FAR too dark. Almost impossible to take pics in dull light. Flash fails to pick up ...

Stupid Minolta! What kind of ideas did they have to put out a camera like this. For those who said this is a great camera, it's because they've never tried anything else. How about the price? You pay a simple Epson PHOTO PC 650 or an Olympus D-510 less expensive, and you can be 100% sure to get much better results. Why this camera is so bad? A picture can be over-exposed and under-exposed, both at once, in different areas on the picture. Weird eh? Sad but true... The colours tend to be ...

Up until recently I was very pleased except for the way the Minolta went throught batteries. But now the load to pc facility will not work (once in the last five times I have tried it) which makes it pretty useless. It is not the computer as my scanner runs from the same usb port and I have put in new batteries so it is the camera or the lead Problems: as mentioned above does any other user have the same problem

Terrible image quality. Almost all images are underexposed and have a yellow cast. Colors reproduction is terrible. Metering is terrible. Shadow definition is terrible. All shadows are almost solid black. Flash is useless as everyone else pointed out. It's not strong enough and flash photos come out yellow. As if all that wasn't enough, it's slower than molasses. It really sux, don't buy it. I got mine for $100, because it was a floor model, but $100 is too much for a useless ...

I'm a very satisfied user of this camera. I bought this camera to use next to my minolta 3xi for quick (holiday) pictures. Advice: use 1600mah rechargeable batteries and charger. For laptop users, buy sandisk pcmcia pc-card, cheap & works great!
