I've Had this camera for about 18 months. I love it. The photos are clear. Using the Photo suite software that came with the camera is a lot of fun. If you want major results go pay a major price. Great camera for the price. Problems: No Problems. although standard batteries I wouldn't suggest. Using photo quality batteries are great

Problems: I think it's really appalling that minolta are saying that they will not come up with driver for windows xp. How's that for customer service!

Got it as gift. Person who bought it was lied to by salesman It was obvious this one was returned once maybe twice before. Not what I wanted in a digital camera, especially for on sale price paid. $370 Returned today. I have always been please with other std. Minolta cameras not this time! Problems: No optical zoom, digital ineffective. Picture quality subpar . Doesn't seem like 2+ mil pixel Batteries supplied were half drained Software problems.

Great Camera, Good quality pictures. This camera is good if you know how to operate it. For indoor photo's I set it to white balance:auto, Sharpness: hard, Iso: High. For outdoor WB:auto, Sharpness:hard, Iso: normal if it's sunny I use fill flash. With these settings I've gotten great results. I also use Photoshop to retouch things sometimes. Problems: Heavy battery consumption

I've had this camera for 12 months. I think the pictures it takes are very clear and the camera has good color response. I wish it had zoom and the ability to record MPG clips. Problems: Two complaints I have : The memory card is in the same compartment as the batteries, so you remove the batteries everytime you switch cards. In order to view images captures, you must turn the camera off, and then back on in a different mode.

I've had the dimage2300 for 12 months, I'm not an experianced photographer and photography isn't particularly a hobby of mine, neither do I know much about cameras or photography. But for my own pleasure of taking pictures of my family and friends, and my dog, I am quite happy with the camera itself, pictures are fine, maybe a bit slow in action shots, but generally good enough for MY needs. The only problem I find which pisses me off is the software that comes with it..I install it and it ...

You get what you pay for assuming you only paid about $100 to $150 bucks for this camera. There is no optical zoom and the digital zoom is worthless. It takes so long to change any of the settings that unless you're taking pictures of flowers or street signs you'll probably miss the shot. The flash is extremely weak. Problems: There is so much lag between focus and shutter release that any action shooting is impossible.
