I"ve been taking digital pics with this camera since last year and found that it can take pictures with commendable results! Sharp, clean and crisp shots for camera of this pixels. Had actually compare pictures taken with a canon ixus 300, of cause minus the pixels differances. It actually produce cleaner and crispier than the Canon ixus. Fast readiness for the next shot.Great for working on projects etc.... Overall OK value for camera of this pixels. Problems: Major set back comes from the ...

I just wonder how an operator of this camera can take advantage of its 1/4000 sec shutter speed, which is excellent.

I've used the EX 1500 with the zoom lens for a year. The photos are great, except for a bit much noise at dusk or indoors. The lens is small and not a good choice for indoor photos. The camera body is very compact. It takes a long time to boot up, about 12 seconds. The zoom is medium noisy, but focus and shutter are quiet. I like the ability to extend the lens unit with the optional extension cable. The LCD refresh rate is very slow when used as a viewfinder. The model has been updated ...
