This cam is excellent value for money. It offers so much creative control for those on a limited budget. It's a camera you can really have fun with. Works fine as a beginner point and shoot. If you're a beginner it's an excellent buy because you gradually work up to the more advanced features. For those looking at the slr-like features, an excellent price. I like the controls. I've yet to try it out on my lively little nieces and nephews, for family happy snaps, but i'm looking forward to ...

Great structure, look and feel, I have bought the adaptoer for extra lenses and filters and they perfectly match (all 52 mm lenses / filters)> Speed is great lcs gives great quick view. I like the idea that one day I'll buy an external flash and the camera's computer will adjust it self to the flash (TTL etc). No disturtions at max zoom, stabilizer is perfect. Plastic of camera is hard and not like a made in china toy. Warranty is world wide, unlike many other brands (such as sony, olympus). ...

What can I say, besides that it feels good in my hands and is easy to use and control. Excellent battery life, over 400 shots on a charge. Fast operation. Long 12x zoom coupled with superb image stabilization. Relatively small for a 12x zoom. Great macro abilities. Custom white balance adjustments and sharpness adjustments. Well implemented, rich feature set for a camera in this price range. The controls are logically laid out and easy to get comfortable with. All-in-all, I'm very ...

I've found this camera to have a magenta cast particularly in the greys of a image. The image is also pretty soft and lacking in detail. I appreciate I could spend ages in Photoshop correcting some of these things but in the real world when I buy a camera of this type I expect to be able to just put the camera card in a kiosk and get good prints. I do with my Minolta Z1. When I compared it to my friends Canon S2 IS 5 megapixel it was nowhere near as sharp or as vibrant as the Canon. ...

I got the camera about 3 months ago and am very pleased with it. I have taken around 1500 photos with it. It is fast, easy to use, full-featured and produces very good pictures. Straight out of the camera the pics are a bit soft and a bit dull, but a touch of unsharp mask and color boost makes them very good indeed. Turn the contrast setting down to improve fine detail. I don't use the video function, so I won't judge the camera on this basis. I took pics of similar subjects with my other ...
